We saw this former artist’s studio as the perfect canvas: a secluded forest setting that feels worlds away, yet remains remarkably accessible. What truly set this location apart for us (and what you won’t find elsewhere) is the direct access to a regional park right from our backyard.

We chose this specific spot because it offers that rare 'edge of the wilderness' feeling where your morning hike starts the moment you step off the deck. It’s a place of total peace and seclusion, yet remarkably, you are only 5 to 15 minutes from major shopping centers, restaurants, and the slopes of Shawnee. It is the ultimate retreat: deep forest immersion without sacrificing a single modern convenience.
