Everything was great but the sofa, recliner needs to be higher off the floor, my husband had a heck of a time getting out of each one and the mattress was definitely to soft, you sink down into like a hole, other than that I could live there forever

I love this little cabin! Misty had it well appointed with Keurig pods - laundry and dish pods - paper towels - TP - but the best part was all the deer stopping by each evening to eat the hickory nuts on the property - truly magical - hummingbirds - the deck was wonderful with the gas fireplace and the hanging swing - so comfortable! You won’t be disappointed!

The extra touches were so thoughtfully carried out. From tape provide to cover a possible light nuisance to any thing you can imagine in the kitchen and well stocked bathroom and kitchen supplies, it was great! We had a wonderful time.

Perfect Stay!

The cabin was spotless, comfortable, and exactly as described. Great location, well-stocked, and excellent communication from the host. We especially liked sitting around the fire. We’d gladly stay here again!

Wonderful cabin and host. Host is very attentive to any needs and questions. The cabin was furnished with anything you could need. Very relaxing and fun all in one with games, fireplaces, and hot tub.

Weekend getaway

We had a great time! The cabin was so cozy! The area is perfect for a weekend getaway to relax. Checking in and out was so simple - Misty made it easy with not many tasks to complete at check out! Would highly recommend and love to return!

We really enjoyed our stay! The property is very nice. We brought our boat and while it was a little tight getting to the property, we made it work and the boat launch was very close which we enjoyed! The lake is great, water was warm and the restaurants on the lake were good. My dog had a great time coming with us and we enjoyed all the amenities the cabin had to offer at night. I would definitely stay again!

Great place !!!

Absolutely no complaints! Our stay was great, the cabin was the nicest one we have ever stayed in. Everything we needed was there. Misty was great checking to make sure we were good and how everything was.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this cabin! The cabin was very clean and looked as advertised. We did some paddleboarding in the lake. This location is close enough to 'touristy' stuff but far enough away to view deer in the yard! Great experience!

Beautiful cabin tucked away in Tennessee mountains. Exceptional home and host. Exactly as pictured-spotless and cozy. Never have I stayed where the host had left so many thoughtful things for guests to enjoy! Wine, cold drinks, variety of snacks, and a fresh bag of ice . I would definitely recommend and stay here again.

Great Cabin

We loved this cabin. It was so close to the lake and we were able to take our boat back and forth to the lake with no problems. Close to town and multiple boat ramps. Great eating place only 15-20 mintues away. We saw racoons and deer every morning from the deck. We will be back in the fall.

Douglas Lake Cabin

We had a wonderful time. Loved the cabin. The kitchen was well stocked. The king bed mattress was the most comfortable we’ve ever slept on in all of our travels. Outdoor spaces including the grilling area were phenomenal. The shower and hot tub are awesome. We really enjoyed the fresh smell of pine wood inside the cabin. The cabin is very clean and well maintained. We’ve already booked a future stay at this same place.

Don’t expect an actual view of the lake because there isn’t one from the cabin. However, the cabin is fantastic! Beautiful from top to bottom! Well stocked kitchen, wonderful thick and fluffy bath towels, jetted tub. Beds were comfy! Deck was wonderful! I sat and drank my morning coffee while I watched several dear eat their breakfast! We just loved it!

Just as described. Clean with all the amenities you will need and more. Communication with hosts was prompt and efficient. We were pleasantly surprised at the attention to detail that the host provided. Would stay again if in the area.
