Benvenuti a "Castello" a Castle Point Paradise! Situata a 3929 Paradise Lane, Himrod, New York, questa moderna cabina offre una splendida vista sul lago Seneca che può essere ammirata da uno dei balconi privati o dall'ampio ponte (nella vasca idromassaggio!)

All'interno di Castello sarai entusiasta di trovare una cucina completamente arredata con tutti i nuovi elettrodomestici! Il soggiorno è inoltre dotato di un camino a gas per riscaldarti in quelle fredde mattine.

Al piano superiore troverete 2 camere da letto splendidamente decorate, ognuna dotata di balconi privati per godersi la splendida alba.

Nel seminterrato avrai molto da fare! Un mini bar e una TV LED da 50 '(completa di audio surround all'avanguardia) ti terranno occupato nei giorni di pioggia e nelle serate. C'è anche un letto matrimoniale Murphy al piano di sotto in modo che la cabina possa ospitare comodamente fino a 4 coppie. Abbiamo anche aggiunto un tavolo da biliardo in modo da avere qualcosa da fare nei giorni di pioggia!

E ... deseleziona questo mazzo! Il mazzo da 32 "X 18" ti lascerà con molte opzioni. Puoi gustare un pasto cucinato su una griglia di prima qualità e rilassarti sui comodi mobili in polietilene. E dopo che le luci della sera svaniscono, puoi salire nella vasca idromassaggio per assorbire le preoccupazioni. Il prato è grande e abbiamo diversi giochi da usare. Un patio in cemento e una firepit sul prato appena fuori dal ponte sono il luogo perfetto per arrostire alcuni odori.

La posizione della cabina non deluderà: abbastanza lontano dai sentieri battuti per darti la privacy durante le tue vacanze, ma vicino alla strada principale e ad alcune delle maggiori attrazioni della nostra zona. Solo 2 miglia dal varo della barca Severne Point.

This house was immaculate. The smell of fresh log cabin when you walk in was a plus. It was so clean and cozy. All of the pots and pans were fresh and the kitchen had everything we needed. The hot tub was clean and warm from the minute we got there. I would stay here over and over again.

The home is located on a quiet and privately owned street. When we walked into the home we fell in love. It felt like being in a wood cabin. It was immaculately clean and the layout was amazing. Everyone had their own space but the family room in the basement was great for getting everyone together to hangout. This rental had everything we needed for a wonderful stay. The open space on the 2nd floor and balconies attached were a really nice touch. The backyard, deck, fire pit and hot tub just added to the enjoyment of the trip. Sitting out at night and star gazing and waking up to sunrises, deer grazing, bunnies hopping and birds chirping was the icing on the cake. We had a wonderful time!! The host did an amazing job with staying in touch, which was appreciated. A friend wrote this to express their appreciation:"Linger Hospitality" The beauty that awaits you gives a glimpse into Paradise. "Linger" certainly incities one to linger and linger.Great privacy.Everything necessary for comfort and relaxation.Clean and welcoming.Tranquility surrounds you.Linger gets TEN stars!!!!!We'll definitely look to stay at this or another property by Linger again!!!

House was very pleasant and a view from the porch that couldn’t be beat! It was very quiet and serene and the foliage was turning to autumn colors. Lots of wineries in the area and we managed to take in a few. Had several great meals and very much enjoyed our stay.

Lovely new cabin in a great location!

Lovely cabin with a really beautiful view of Seneca lake from the deck. The managing company was excellent! We had a great time & certainly recommend this house.

Beautiful property. PROs: Great lodgy feel, nice hot tub, quality furniture. CONs: Water kept going out so no sinks or toilets periodically, early check out is pretty stringent.

Unfortunately the state of NY went through a long draught period this fall, creating issues with our well pump for the home. This has since been remedied. The guest did let us know that they were out of water and we had our maintenance guy heading to the house within minutes of receiving the guests message about the water.

Family weekend

The property was clean and located in a quiet area. We were able to walk Watkins Glen and enjoyed the hot tub at night. The property was exactly as described and gave us time to reconnect as a family.

Great place for family getaway!

We absolutely loved the location and the cabin! Lots of privacy. Kitchen missing a few items that we thought were basic, but maybe we just couldn't find them (cheese grater and dry measuring cups). Great time anyways.

Amazing view!

Castello was amazing. We had a great weekend! The deck and outside area was so cool! It was perfect bc for our family of 7! We had everything we needed except wood for the fire out. Which was right down the road. Great location, great amenities! Ruth was awesome with communication! We will be back to Castello!

Amazing

Such a great place to stay! Cute, cozy, CLEAN! Easy check in and check out. Great location! We had 6 adults which was perfect! Plenty of room. Hot tub was hot upon arrival. The hot tub is professionally cleaned every Friday and their maintenance guy was very nice and helpful! Home is very well stocked with kitchen utensils,pots,bowls, cups, and pans. We really enjoyed ourselves. We would most definitely go back!

Almost perfect

Two issues: the hot water supply was kicked off due to power outage. It took us a "hot" minute to figure it out. But once it was on it worked great, plenty of hot water for all. The hot water unit itself sounded like a freight train, very loud for the guest in the basement. The only other issue less than satisfaction was the grill. The burners were rusted out. Please replace the grill before the guest arrive~!

Perfect Spot

The location and home was lovely. We always stay, annually, at VRBOs and in the Finger Lakes. The furnishings are usually very comfortable. This time, however, I have to say there wasn’t much in the way of comfortable seating for the 5 of us. The dining room chairs were uncomfortable. The leather chair was comfortable. The outdoor seating was VERY comfortable, loved it. I’m sorry but the beds were extremely uncomfortable. Soooo soft. Sorry. Also, I would advise putting a rubber mat in the upstairs shower. One of the ladies fell back into the shower when she slipped while stepping out. Fortunately only painful bruises,( and she’s in good shape physically), so I think you really should think about that. She’s a nurse and felt you should know. Loves the fire pit at night, it was so relaxing. Again, put some money into the mattresses, no pun intended.

Our mattresses were just purchased this winter and get rave reviews from many of our guests asking where they can purchase some of their own. The dining chairs are as photographed and the tub is a standard fiberglass tub/shower—both in excellent condition.

Clean and pretty inside and out

Our family of 8 had a wonderful time in this cabin but it had it pros with the cons. Pros: beautiful property, deck had a nice but far off view of the lake. There was plenty of flat yard area for outside games. The fire pit was a beautiful area. The house se was very clean and comfortable. Both upstairs bedroom had balconies which 2 of our married children enjoyed each morning. It was a short drive to Watkins Glenn (the reason for our stay) and surrounded by many vineyards if you’re into wine tours. Cons: it sleeps 8 but you cannot seat 8 in either of the living room or basement family room without using kitchen chairs or sitting on the floor. There are also only 4 chairs around the fire pit. The blow dryer and DVD control was missing and the master and basement bed were not comfortable. The hot tub was not hot. Conclusion: Depending on your choice of activities, this property offers everything you could desire for a family weekend away but for the price, it falls just short of perfect. I would definitely recommend it to anyone in need of a large family vacation home near Watkins Glen, I just wish it hadn’t been so expensive with all the added fees.

We appreciate constructive feedback, however, we did one to add some notes: the master bedroom mattress is brand new and just like the other bedroom mattresses: a tuft and needle mattress which most of our guests absolutely love. The Murphy bed in the basement is not a T&N since that mattress must be lighter weight to close the Murphy bed. Our TVs are set up as smart TVs and as such, you can watch movies streaming from your favorite accounts. There are roku remotes available for all TVs. The hot tub is is in great working order. Quite possibly the guest accidentally put it in sleep mode (where the temp drops below 100* for a designated time)and our only regret is that they didn’t let us know: we would have been more than happy to walk them through turning the temp up.
