Great location! I was there for a Keuka College event and it is perfect spot between Penn Yann and the college. Very clean and kitchen was fully stocked. Easy check-in process and Pat was great with communication.

Cute as a button. Love this area and happened to be in peak autumn and trees were perfect color changing mode.

We had a wonderful stay for 5 days. The just was super when communicating and timely. We were the first of the season staying… the cottage was very clean and tidy! Great new kitchen… Weather was variable ( Rain, sun AND SNOW) but not the hosts control… haha. But would be great to enjoy the view and porches. Simple cottage and just what we were looking for! Thank you and hope to be back for future visits!

Pat is a great host and easy to work with during our stay. The biggest disappointment were the metal bunkers. They are unbelievably noisy, so much so that only one person could sleep in that room. That room is also close to a busy road to quite noisy. It’s also worth mentioning that to use the basement the stairs can be a bit tricky. Otherwise, it’s what we expected. Kids loved the air hockey table, place was clean and well equipped, and Pat was a nice host.

Cottage was clean and well appointed. Kitchen was very nice! Lake was 'viewable' but not really accessible. No direct lake access, however Indian Point Park just a couple blocks away offered unfettered access to the lake. Otherwise great location for biking, and access to Penn Yan village, farm stands, restaurants, bars, shopping, etc. My only wish is that there were some kind of 'fire' feature available like a chiminea on the porch or lawn, or even an indoor electric fire place that would have made the fall weekend a little more special. An updated Smart TV that allows direct streaming from a phone would also be preferred to an HDMI cable. Most people these days do not drag their laptop, or a bag of DVDS (ha!) for a quick 3 day trip. However, I would not hesitate to recommend this cottage for those who are looking for a quick getaway on the loveliest Keuka Lake.

Hi Deana! We're, a bit confused by your review and sad to hear you had issues during your stay. If you had let us know during the stay, we could have taken care of the spiders you found, outside, on the porch for you! Also, when we entered the property just after you left, we did not find any evidence of stink bugs as you suggested. Neither did we when we rechecked the property after your text, nor did the following guests report any issues. Which are the only two things you complained about, in your text to me almost a week after you left. We are also, pleased that you stated (in your text to me) you found the house very clean, and that you had a nice weekend!! Also, when I asked you if there was anything we could have done to have improved your stay, your only suggestion, was that we provide paper towels. Which we're happy to report, we now do. As a courtesy to you, we did waive the extra cleaning fees that would have been charged for the state the house was left in from your stay. The damage done was also covered by the insurance policy, at no extra charge to you. All in all, we are really heartbroken you didn't give us the chance to address any issues you might have had, during your stay. We absolutely would have made it right, immediately! We REALLY value our guest's experience and make it easy to contact us 24 hrs. a day via multiple channels of communication (email, phone/text, and vrbo messaging). We personally pride ourselves in responding within minutes, and rapidly resolving any issues you might have.
