It was a very nice vacation. Riverwood is very clean, comfortable and has every amenity that you could ask for. I loved the decor and was sad to be going home. Bonus….its dog friendly.

Very clean! but we froze the first night because we didn't know how to re-set the thermostat. The duvets were so heavy that we didn't sleep well . They were like weighted blankets. The sliding screen was stuck so we had to pull really hard to open it and then it fell off the track. We put it back on but it needs fixing. This is minor but the scissors wouldn't work they were so clogged. The deck was covered in leaves . Also the water isn't in sight of the cottage, you have to walk to it. We left a day early.

Thank you for your feedback, and I’m glad to hear you found the cottage very clean. I’m sorry to hear parts of your stay didn’t meet expectations. We did our best to assist during your visit, including walking you through the thermostat settings by phone and providing clear instructions at the cottage. The duvets are standard weight, but we understand comfort preferences vary. Since your stay, we’ve repaired the screen door and replaced the scissors. With the cottage surrounded by trees, leaves can fall quickly this time of year, but we do clear them regularly. The property description notes that the river is located just down the hill, which many guests enjoy for its privacy and scenic setting. We appreciate your comments and wish you all the best in your future travels.
