About 1/2 mile walk to beach on a nice path. Our dogs loved it and enjoyed the cabin. Really fun place to hang out!

Ad said pet friendly, but after I paid a nonrefundable amount for the stay, I got a list of rules and one was a weight limit on size of the dog. My dog exceeded the limit so tried emailing and email I got back was that it exceeded the size and would not be welcome. I tried to cancel the deposit within the 24 hour period they set and they said they would talk to the owner and let me know if they would make an exception. I didn't hear back so assumed they had refunded my deposit and made reservations somewhere else. When I didn't get any feed back about the refund, I called again and was told I called the wrong number to cancel and they would again check about the dog and of course the 24 hours were up and they would check again. I finally heard it was ok to bring my dog. When there I saw at least 3 dogs bigger than mine so I was rather annoyed that I had to go through the process and jump these hoops. Luckily the other reservation was cancelled without penalty. While there, the water was turned off and we were notified by text it would be off 8-12 due to construction. I didn't see the text until after the water was turned off, but dealt with it. The water was off until 8:30 that night--over 12 hours!! Calls to they to provide water bottles for us were ignored as whoever answered said they didn't have the funds available to do that. Not being able to use kitchen I had to go out for meals and buy water. I feel I should be compensated for that day.
