We've stayed in several cabins in the Smoky Mountains through the years, and this has been our favorite. The cabin was roomy, well stocked with essentials, and clean. The view was amazing, and the large deck provided areas to enjoy our morning coffee. I particularly liked the paved access road that led to the cabin, and the fact that it was located within a gated community. The owner, Suzanne, was helpful and responsive. We would definitely stay here again.

This property was very clean and well-equipped. It is a wonderful place for a restful getaway. The views are spectacular and it so very quiet. Every morning the clouds rested below the cabin and it was such a treat to watch the sun rise and the cloud "ocean" slowly dissipate and distant mountains emerge like islands. The distant blue mountains were so pretty in the morning light. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen is fully equipped. Suzanne was a great communicator and has provided a wonderful getaway spot. The drive up to the house isn't really that steep until reaching the last switchback where the incline is more drastic but doable in a car. There is one moment when you turn into the drive and just see mountains in the distance where your heart may pound but it is short-lived as you soon see the cabin and realize the drive is just a slight downward slope to the house. There are a lot of deer in the area so best to take this drive slow. There is a lot to see and do in the area should you decide to leave the cabin, but it is such a great place you may just want to spend your time there. Nice grill and large tv. Verizon reception was strong. Network is strong. Highly recommend this property and hope to return.

Weekend

This is the most beautiful place to stay. The Mountain View’s are breathtaking. My husband and I came for a peaceful weekend. We loved drinking our coffee sitting outside. July 9th will be our 31st anniversary. We will definitely be back.

Wondeful place and amazing views

We really enjoyed our stay here! The place was super clean, stocked with everything you may need, especially kitchen and bathrooms. The photos can't do the view justice, and at almost the top of thr mountain you can see for miles in about 180 degrees. Lots of things to keep you busy if you are spending alot of time in the cabin. We mostly stayed on the amazing porch, switching seats and views when we weren't out exploring. Check in was a breeze, well communication, and we were even greeted vy a family of deer in the front yard when we arrived... obviously a great sign! I would not hesitate staying here again.

One of the most impressive VRBOs I’ve ever stayed in. This house is well-appointed and exactly as listed. Spectacular views with great porches and comfy furniture. Everything you could need is provided (supplies, games, etc.). The drive up is steep but paved the entire way and well maintained. Host was easy to communicate with and provided great instructions on check in and check out. Strong WiFi and large tvs. Would love to return. (One note: most windows are not covered in any way but you are secluded.)

The property is beautiful, with gorgeous views in just about every direction. Calling it “million dollar views“ is no exaggeration. It’s a perfect place to get away and relax. Every detail is tended to, from the porch furnished with barstools and tables (one at each end of porch), as well as loveseat, chairs and coffee table, grill, and hammock on lower deck. It’s clear that it is regularly swept and dusted for spiderwebs. Inside, the living area is furnished with couch and reclining leather chairs, the bedrooms have comfortable beds, and the kitchen is better equipped than any we’ve experienced at a rental home— plenty of pans, even olive oil, herbs, steak knives… while the bathrooms are stocked with extra toilet paper and even travel sized shampoo and conditioners. The basement area with pool table./ping-pong is a nice addition. And there’s the added perk of deer wandering nearby.Suzanne was easy to communicate with.We not only recommend this rental highly, but we plan to return if we are back in the area.

This is the one!

Stop scrolling and searching. This is the one! We stayed in this mountain home this week. The deck along three sides and two levels of the house is the best feature. It is perfect for catching sunrise over the distant mountains. We saw wildlife- deer, a family of turkeys, and variety of birds. Mountains for miles and miles. More than 180 degree view. Multiple seating areas are arranged under ceiling fans. Bedrooms laid out in three levels give everyone space and views from the windows. Common areas on two levels provide choices for hangout space. Furnished and supplied so we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The neighborhood is gated, quiet with spaced out homes so that we did not see the neighboring homes from the property. Suzanne, the owner, communicated what we needed to know in a timely manner. Our stay was perfect. Seriously, this is the one!
