The Briar House is an absolute gem.

It manages to feel perfectly secluded while remaining centrally located, making it an ideal base camp for a trip to the Hocking Hills. After a full day of shopping or hiking the trails, winding down with their fantastic selection of records was a major highlight. The host’s attention to detail really shines in the kitchen and bathrooms—every finish was clearly executed with pure class in mind. Outside, the hot tub was impeccably private and provided the perfect spot to relax in the evenings.

Briar House was beyond my expectations.

The setting was peaceful and lovely touch with the pretty flowers boxes. Complementary bottle of wine was very good. Fire pit and hot tub was clean. The house oh my beautifully decorated modern touch. The selection of the record albums was wonderful. If I could give The Briar House a 10 star I would. I plan to book again soon. Sorry,I hit breakfast on the rating by mistake.

Great time visiting the Hocking Hills area. Laura (host) was prompt with information whenever we needed it and the house had a few surprises (record player with a diverse selection of records) to help cap off the stay. Would definitely consider again when returning to the area.

Lovely, welcoming getaway with a gorgeous view of the woods

Homey, hospitable, quiet, with a beautiful view. I appreciated the Bluetooth record player, the games, and the hot tub, but most of all the woods and hiking through them on a quiet trail.

Cabin was beautiful, clean, and in a great location for Hocking Hills activities. While there was another cabin on the property, it remained secluded. Check-in and check-out was simple.

Luxurious hideaway

The property is gorgeous and luxurious with all of the amenaties you would want. Very private but close drive to Hocking Hills hiking.

Beautifully modern home! We really enjoyed the screened in porch and hot tub. The bed was so comfortable. It exceeded our expectations. We plan on coming back again for another stay.

Incredible!

The woods and birds are so amazing, and this is one of the most spacious 1 bedroom rentals we've stayed in, especially with the screened-in porch! Also the proximity to the winery/vineyards was such a great feature. We will definitely be back!

This property did not disappoint — not one detail was overlooked. The quality, thought, and care went into every inch of this home. Every corner was spotless — you could practically eat off the floors! Everything worked exactly as it should — from the smooth check-in to the well-equipped kitchen. A true 10/10 experience.
