Great accommodations in a great location!

Accommodations are very clean, comfortably furnished, and nicely decorated. The property is beautiful with a pond and 2 miles of trails. Very quiet location with no road noise. Owner and staff are very pleasant and helpful. It was a 15 to 30 minute drive to the all the Hocking Hills trails. Will stay here again next time we come to Hocking Hills!

Phillip is a wonderful host- the property was perfect. We enjoyed the hot tub, privacy, and the chance to get away. Plan to return in the future. Had a wonderful time!

Our stay in the Red Log Cabin exceeded our expectations!

We were looking for a quiet place in the woods to spend time celebrating ourselves in marriage and birthdays. Having a newfound joy with hiking, we chose to research Hocking Hills and the surrounding area. We found the PERFECT place! The Red Cabin was everything we were looking for and then some! The staff made us feel welcome with celebration cards and swan towels with rose petals for our anniversary! The cabin was clean, quaint and as described! We loved every minute & will definitely return

Great getaway from everyday life!

Loved the secluded area. Loved going down to the pond to feed the pet fish. I call them pets because as soon as they know you are there, they all come to meet you! Loved seeing Grace and her fawn as we first entered the property. The swans and rose petals on the bed were a wonderful surprise when we entered our cabin. All of the little upgrades are wonderful and still keep the cabin "rustic"!

We did leave a review in the red log cabin but in short; every single thing this cabin had to offer was amazing and decorated beautifully. I will definitely be coming back in time

Cozy, relaxing and beautiful

This is my boyfriend's and I second time staying at the Fronteir Log Cabins. We love it here. Last visit we stayed in the blue cabin and this time we stayed in the red. It was the perfect cozy, winter getaway. Will definitely return for another stay.

Cozy historic cabin nestled in the beautiful forest with private hiking trails and pond

I loved that every window had a view of the beautiful trees and forest. The private hiking trails were so peaceful and beautiful. The cabin was the perfect place to snuggle and listen to the rainstorm. The cabin was clean and perfect. I really enjoyed the location and scenery. Everything was perfect from the WiFi to the coffee provided to the cabin history to the fishing pond. Thank you!

This cabin was incredible. Authentic 200 year old cabin, beautifully appointed inside. Comfortable and clean. Hot tub is a really nice plus. Beautiful property!

Another excellent stay in the extremely clean and cozy red cabin!

This was our ninth stay in the Red Cabin. Beautifully clean and very tastefully decorated. Philip and team do an amazing job making sure you have a perfect stay. We will be back next year and for many more to come.

The definition of coziness!

The cabin was adorable—decorated for fall in every nook and cranny. The beds were comfortable, the sofa throws were soft, and the fireplace was toasty. It was beautiful inside and out. I would come back in a heartbeat.

It was cozy, quiet and relaxing.

This was our 2nd time here. We loved the decorations with the Christmas season. It’s cozy, calm and quiet. We enjoyed the hot tub and laying in front of the fireplace. It’s very clean and smells nice. We also like that we didn’t have to think about morning coffee because it’s all there for you.

Perfect, peaceful, and healing. The bed is divine, and the pillows are perfect. The kitchen is adorable. We loved all the Amish woodwork. The best was the private hot tub to soothe the aches / pains and stress away.

Cozy and comfortable!

The personal touches at Frontier Log Cabins sets this place apart from others! Philip was a great host. The cabin was spotless and decorated for fall. The quality of all the amenities makes it feel like home. And don't let the historic nature of the cabin fool you! It's completely modern and comfortable.

A quiet hideaway in the woods!

The location is great and the cabin was SO clean! It has all the kitchen supplies you need to cook almost any type of meal. It was nice to have so much control of the interior temp of the cabin (with a fireplace and a mini split) as the early spring temps varied greatly from morning to afternoon. We appreciated walking around the paths on the property as a cool down from our longer state park hikes before hopping in the hot tub.

A weekend in the Red Cabin was the perfect getaway.

After many years of visiting Frontier Log Cabins, we had to stop due to health issues. With those behind us, we felt the need to return. We hadn’t visited since Philip became the new owner and were wondering if it would still be the same. I’m happy to stay it was better than expected. We’ve been there in the summer and fall. I hope to go back again soon to experience winter and snow in the cabin in the woods.
