We enjoyed our stay, the cottage has a beautiful view and is close to all kinds of attractions. The beds were comfortable and the cottage is very spacious.

Wonderful lake view! The location was perfect, easy to get to Petoskey and Harbor Springs. The Hatchery was interesting and the trails were great.We will be back!Thank you.

Very easy to communicate with Tom and check in and check out was super easy. Some places require quite a few things to do before checking out, but we had very minimal to do. The property has excellent views and the layout was a very roomy open concept. Really enjoyed that for the 6 of us that came. Bike trail easy to access also.Will return someday.

We really enjoyed our stay at this old, slightly funky cottage, on the shore of Crooked Lake. The view of the Lake was wonderful. The location was perfect for our plans. The only thing that was a small problem was finding the driveway because it was a narrow opening in a tall fence just off the main highway. It was very difficult to see, especially at night. We'd suggest some lights or reflectors around the opening through the fence to make it easier to see.

We stayed at this property a few years ago and they have updated the windows, sliding glass doors and added a portable AC unit on the first floor. Everything about the cottage was what you would expect and we enjoyed our time there. Beds were comfortable and we all slept well. The owner was great to work with and answered the few questions we had promptly. We plan to rent again next year.

Enjoyed our stay at this cottage. Great spot on the water. Since it has a dock, we were able to rent a pontoon from Ryde marina and keep it for multiple days. Close to everything! We had 4 adults and 4 kids and all fit fine. All the bedrooms are upstairs. The 2 queen rooms on the lake side did not have air conditioning but they had multiple fans through the house to use. The two bedrooms on the opposite side each had a window air unit. We were in the area visiting family and would definitely stay here again.

Keep in mind this is an older home with a lot of updates to make it very very suitable as a beautiful Lakeside retreat. Centrally located on the Channel Lakes just north of Petoskey and Mackinaw is not that far away. Really hard to find a better place better response from The Host and the pricing is spot on.

This house is perfect for our family. It has the right number of bedrooms and is conveniently located to the other cottage extended family rents. It is not too close to the main road, so there is no road noise. The owner is fantastic to work with and we look forward to our stay next year.
