Absolutely wonderful place to stay! Extremely secluded and the only flaw to our entire stay was the drive. It's the mountains, and though our car made it, an suv or truck would be much easier. But don't let that deter your stay! It's an amazingly cute and comfy stay! Highly recommend more than 2 nights!

Great cozy spot in the mountains! Close to nearby Brevard, Pisgah National Forest and DuPont State Park. Easy check in and out instructions and had most of your essentials at the ready for cooking/grilling, etc. We used the sofa bed vs. the loft because of our pup and it was perfectly fine and comfy. Great stay.

I was looking for a cabin where I could get away and study for a week straight with minimal distractions while still enjoying nature and the end of summer turning into fall, especially the first cool nights of the season.The things that mattered most to me were privacy, nature, convenience to town, being small dog friendly, access to hiking and mountain biking trails, and reliable internet. This cabin had all of that and more.I could not see or hear anyone else while I was there, yet the beautiful town of Brevard is only about 15 minutes away, along one of the prettiest drives around.I genuinely want to live at this cabin now. It was beyond perfect for what I needed. I finished all of my studying, got in a few great rides at both DuPont State Forest and Pisgah National Forest, hiked with my dog, and discovered that I absolutely love Brevard.If you are deciding between this cabin and another one, pick this one. You will not be disappointed.

The location was isolated YET so very close to town restaurants, State Parks waterfall trails and a variety of shops. The title Cozy Cabin is appropriate. The loft wasn't for our sleeping needs. The loft is a comfortable area for sleeping but as an older person that requires getting up in the middle of the night the stairs were a bit of a challenge.We choose to sleep on the fold out couch and were very comfortable! THE HOT TUB was very nice and a good setting outside close to the cabin. There is a nice fire pit unfortunately we didn't get a chance to make use of it.DO NOTE it is recommended to have AWD/4x4 vehicle to navigate the drive to the top. There is a wide landing just below the cabin for those that might not be able to climb the last bend of the drive. WE LOVED OUT 4 NIGHT STAY AND WOULD RECOMMEND THIS CABIN FOR A COUPLES GETAWAY ANYTIME.

The cabin was exactly as described. Loved the location and hot tub. We had everything we needed to make simple meals and was conveniently located to get to attractions. We were very comfortable. We would definitely stay again.

Absolutely loved this tiny cabin! This is a great spot with a great view. The hot tub felt great and the aesthetic was very cozy! The host was super friendly and very easy to communicate with! We would definitely recommend this place to anyone !

Such a beautiful and peaceful cabin. I stayed here during a difficult time, and the quiet surroundings and cozy space helped me find calm again. Clean, comfortable, safe and surrounded by nature it felt like the perfect place to breathe and reset.

Perfect Cozy Getaway

My husband and I stayed here for a weekend getaway with our dog and absolutely loved it! The cabin was spotless, felt nearly brand new, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. I was pleasantly surprised by how spacious it felt for a tiny cabin—we never felt cramped. The setting was peaceful, and the hosts were incredibly friendly and responsive. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing, pet-friendly retreat!

This place is amazingly peaceful. Tons of outdoor activities are within a short drive. Pretty place chapel was the main reason for our vist to the area and was within a short drive (20min) and we were able to make a sunrise viewing with no problem. The cabin was very nice and clean. Definitely recommend giving this one a look if you are traveling to the Brevard area.

This is truly a gem near DuPont National Forest. The property location is as close as you would expect - 10 minutes drive to all the waterfalls and scenic hikes as well as stores nearby. My family stayed for 3 days and we had so much fun at the cabin. It has pretty much everything and the owner Susan and Gerald were very responsive and accommodating to our requests. The hot tub was a huge plus for the kids. We would definitely visit again.

The property was secluded. It was clean and everything in the house worked as it should. Ac unit worked great. A few things to know are the driveway is steep and just gravel, so some will have trouble going up it. The hot tub wasn't heating properly and the chlorine levels were really high. The biggest thing is if you are over 5'5" it's a pain to get to and from the bed upstairs. Very low ceiling. Upstairs window was also broken in the bottom right corner so bugs did get in.

The house was cute and clean. It's especially nice to have a hot tub in a secluded location, great view of the night sky. Some things to be aware of: the driveway is steep and graveled, they really mean it when they recommend 4 wheel drive or AWD. The steps to the loft are very steep, would not recommend them for anyone with mobility issues. You do have to crawl a couple feet to the bed. Would strongly recommend the owner to put a padded mat in that area to protect knees. We put pillows down and that was very helpful. We had a small issue with the heater but the owners responded quickly and the issue was resolved within an hour which was very appreciated. Otherwise, it's a great property and well worth the price. Would definitely stay there again.
