Adorable cottage, comfortable and well appointed in every respect, We very much enjoyed our stay here and would definitely book again since it felt like ‘home’ as soon as we unpacked. The charm and history of this cottage truly enhanced our visit to Cloudcroft!

Lilac Cottage is a charming home decorated beautifully! It is close to everything Cloudcroft had to offer. The owner was responsive and helpful. We would definitely stay there again.

Beautiful property in walking distance to downtown Cloudcroft. Wildlife all around you. The interior design of the house makes it cozy and relaxing. Communication was quick and pleasant.

Lovely cottage one block off the main throughfare in Cloudcroft - easy walking distance to Burro Street and Zenith Park. The house is nicely furnished and was a perfect week-long escape from the Texas heat.

It has been a wonderful home and location in Cloudcroft.. Tamara is very responsive and kind. This last stay I invited a friend who is going through very challenging cancer treatment. She had a few days "break" and we needed a place to just BE. Lilac Cottage was perfect.

This cottage was perfect! The pellet and space heaters were sufficient for the cold weather, the yard was perfect for our dogs, the cottage was within walking distance to all we wanted to be near in Cloudcroft. 100% recommend, will stay again.

Great place on a quiet street walking distance to everything

I really enjoyed my time at this place in Cloudcroft. The house was clean, comfortable and a great location.

Wonderful host and fantastic cottage! We arrived the day of the January 2026 winter storm and the host was super flexible and accomodating! The cottage was ready and we wintered the storm in comfort. Fantastic experience.

Great location, perfect walking distance to most everything.

This location couldn’t be better, walking access everywhere in town. Loved the antique furniture and design. Our dogs were safe and comfortable in the secure backyard.

The house is absolutely charming! beyond cute. Everything was clean, and what we needed. The back yard was set up for entertaining and very private. We have a huge dog, but he got used to the side yards, and it was perfect. We enjoyed our stay mainly due to the house, being so comfortable, washer dryer, shower, comfortable bed, books, puzzles, and great tv, and stove!

Quaint Cottage

We were very happy with this adorable quaint cottage. Was very close to town and within walking distance to restaurants. It was very clean and had enough towels for all of us. Great hot water! We will return.

Amazing Location!!!

What a quaint little cottage steps from everything in Cloudcroft. Had everything we needed including comfy beds and bedding…I’m a bit of a sheet snob. Lol. Would definitely book again…

Charming Cottage

The cottage is nicely decorated, beautifully maintained, and has everything you need for a relaxed stay. We sat on the front porch and back patio to visit and read in the beautiful Cloudcroft weather. You can walk anywhere in town from the cottage. We had some great walks. The owners were very responsive. We absolutely loved our time in Cloudcroft.

Very pleasant property. I would have enjoyed it more if the back patio had been cleaned. It was too dirty to sit comfortably out there. All in all it was a great experience and I will return.
