We are super happy that you appreciate the way we have blended old and new. And basements will always smell a bit like basements I suppose. Though a refrigerator suddenly going out is not something one can predict, I am super proud to have had coolers with ice immediately delivered within 60mins that night and a brand new refrigerator installed by 10am the next morning while you were out for coffee, minimizing any inconvenience. I appreciate you recognizing my super responsiveness in your review. Regarding your other notes, I’d advise closer attention be paid to listing details which indicate no loud power/water-hungry dishwasher is present in this eco-friendly quiet forest home. Both the listing and the welcome book clearly state the twin size bunk bed is indeed best suited for kiddos (not typically preferred by full-grown adults) while adults should consider sleeping in the several Queen beds that are available. But good news! We have restabilized the bunk following your visit and it is again safe for the bunkbed fans it’s intended for. Safe travels.
