Great getaway

Super easy check-in. The condo itself was very clean and welcoming. The kitchen had all the appliances, pots/pan, utensils you need. View from the balcony was awesome. Will definitely stay again

I was very unimpressed with this property. The description of the condo says that the flooring is brand new yet it is very worn and coming up in many places. The bunk beds were nice and having the televisions in each was a bonus but the headphones were in such poor condition they were almost unusable. The kitchen was not clean; the backsplash had all kinds of grime and splashes on it and many of the utensils needed to be washed before being able to use. The beach chairs available to renters were so rusted that it could be seen as hazardous to use them. And the air conditioning could not keep up even on days when the temperature outside was in the high 70’s. The only reason I gave this a 3 stars is because the location is convenient and the view is great. But unfortunately we will not be staying here again nor would I recommend this to others

Good gravy we are so very sorry! We wish only that you had let us know of any needs during your stay. We have rid the condo of the beach chairs as we noticed this after your stay - but we would have had our housekeeping team return if anything in that regard had not been great upon your arrival. As we don't use the headphones they had not been checked but we will do that - sorry about that - we had not known of this prior to your stay. (I am 6' tall and can't fit in the bunks - so I've not checked the headphones. Will do that the next time I am there.

The only good thing was the location and it was a quick walk to the beach. The few of the ocean was pretty.When we got there the floor was coming apart, parts of the baseboard was missing the drywall had a ton of cracks, the stove didn't heat up to temperature, the tv in the living room didn't work, use the fan in the bedroom or there is no air movement, the wash room was a night mare some worked some didn't you had to download an app to do laundry. The gate codes in the room for access to the pool and Walk through gate were wrong, codes are changed monthly. When I paid for the condo I was told one price and then had 300 dollar fee.

Codes are provided by the Association/office - not by My Galveston Getaway. Had you called us we would have gladly provided you with both the July and August codes. We had one phone call from guest about refrigerator immediately after filling an empty refrigerator - and this is addressed in our listing about giving it time to readjust to being full. This review is mostly about the complex and not the property that the guest rented from us - things over which we do not have control. We strive for awesome communication from beginning to end - but unfortunately communication is a 2-way street and when we are unaware of situations there is nothing we can do to correct them. We wish this family nothing but safe and fun travels in the future.

Best customer service the room was clean and nice kind fully stocked with all the amenities. The holes were the best will use them again close to everything pool side view…stay awesome.
