Quiet, very relaxing experience. Convenient to Sand Dunes National Park. Would stay at this property again. Got to try Starlink Internet for the first time and the speeds were very good. Property also had a telescope that was fun to use. Don’t expect a typical TV experience. That was challenging, but the whole purpose of this property really is to kind of get away and unplug so it wasn’t a big deal. There are a lot of puzzles and books at the property.

What a fabulous stay our small group of five just had! The peace and quiet, the rustic (and spotlessly clean) charm of this quirky home, all the facilities, and the location, met all our needs. This really was a break for us, and a comfortable escape. We definitely want to return. We left with regret, but with a great deal of gratitude.

the house was amazing and perfect for our short stay in Crestone! great views, really nice deck and very uniquely built home that we felt right at home. Drew and Gail were amazing and super responsive. would stay here again if we come visit the San Luis valley again.

Excellent communication with host. Slight issue resolved the same day, which is always a plus. Make sure to stay up and view the night sky- it is amazing and humbling to realize how many stars are missed living in a big city. Sheets were incredibly soft and comfortable, nice water pressure in the shower, and 2 wood burning stoves (not used, but still cool!)Would definitely recommend!

Booked the stay to get out of the city during the holiday. It had everything we needed: peace, quiet, air conditioning, Wi-Fi, hot water, dark skies, and a toothbrush to use since I forgot one.

Quiet and relaxing

The property was so peaceful. The kitchen was stocked well to prepare lunch and dinner. The best breeze blew through the house each evening while we relaxed after the days activites.

This home was a wonderful place for us to experience a much-needed getaway! It exceeded our expectations, and was exactly what we needed! It was so fun to see how Gail & Michael lovingly and creatively put this home together by repurposing materials. The house was perfectly clean and tidy, the hosts were great to communicate with, and they have thought of everything! We love to cook, and the kitchen was well stocked and set up to make that an easy and fun experience. Our dog felt right at home here as well, which made it an even better experience.Our first night here, we were already dreaming of when we can come back - hope we can make that happen soon! Thank you!!!

If you are searching for peace and tranquility, I highly recommend this Unique and Marvelous Hideaway. I don't have the words to describe how incredible it was. The house was a delightful, rustic, hodge-podge of a funky little shack and we loved it!!! The views were f*cking amazing! It was like you could touch the stars. We spent hours watching the sunrise and set. Crestone was a delightful little town. I'm pretty sure there were more deer than people. :) The hosts were very easy to work with and the check-in process was a breeze. Thank you, Drew! We will definitely be coming back!
