My husband and I had a really lovely stay here! In addition to the wonderful views and grounds, nice location minutes from the heart of Williamstown, and super helpful host, it was very clean. I really appreciate the environmentally friendly practices - it meant we weren’t greeted by artificial fragrances when we walked in the door. And it was a treat to get up in the morning and sit in the living room while enjoying the view to the west of the sculptures and dramatic landscape! It was summer, so our plans included exploring Williamstown, North Adams, and Bennington, bike riding on the Ashuwillticook Rail Trail in Adams, and a day trip to Manchester, VT (an hour away). This was a great location for our plans. It was a nice surprise to find there was a public pool just down the road as well!As of July/August 2026, though, the listing didn’t accurately represent the details of the space: it noted that there was a queen bed and blackout shades in the bedroom, but it’s a full sized bed and the blinds only partially darken the room. This worked out OK for us, though, as we also used the sofa bed on the lower level for more space. Also, the air conditioner is a window unit in the main space - not the bedroom - so if it’s hot during your visit, you’ll definitely need the ceiling fan in the bedroom, and perhaps a fan to help the cool air make it back to the space. Overall, though, we had a very enjoyable stay in this lovely cottage! Thank you so much, Holly!
