I sincerely apologize for this inconvenience. I have been hosting for 16 years and have never experienced a problem like this before. Unfortunately, my co-host forgot to block those dates on the calendar. I manage the VRBO platform, while the co-host has been managing Airbnb for the past 8 months.

Upon check-in, it seemed there may have been a change of plans, and I clearly offered a full refund so you could find accommodations that better suited your needs. My goal is always for guests to enjoy their stay, not to feel forced to remain if they are not comfortable. However, it is important to be fair and accurate—there were no issues with the property itself.
