We had a great short stay here. It is a beautiful home and met all our needs for the 2 days we were in the area on our road trip. We came through to stop at the Baber Motorsports Museum for our daughter, and this house is only about 15 minutes away. So, the location was very nice and convenient.

Unfortunately, our stay was disappointing due to our overall cleanliness of the property. There was an unpleasant smell throughout, and the living room furniture and rug were very dirty. The towels were old and thin and the master toilet had not been cleaned properly. Overall, the cleaning process was lacking and did not meet our expectations for cleanliness. We hope the owner addresses these issues so future guests can have a more comfortable and enjoyable stay.

The house is beautiful with modern amenities; such as the fireplace, heated toilet seat, large bathtub and great lighting. The issues we had were promptly addressed with courtesy (how to light the fireplace and couldn't find the blowdryer). My only complaint would be that the beautiful kitchen was not stocked well for meal prep and the plastic dishes were terrible, a problem easily corrected.

The host appeared interested to fix the issues but it was too late. My suggestion is for them to find another cleaning service because the property is nice but the upkeep is not being maintained. I found a cigarette bud inside a non smoking home. A dead fly on the pillow of a bed that my grandchild were going to sleep. The white curtains look stained from dog urinating on them. The trundle mattress filthy the furniture in the sitting area filthy the carpet filthy. We had to go purchase cleaning supplies to clean the areas that we were using since I was there for a surgical procedure. No concessions were offered other than sending the cleaning crew back out that didn’t properly cleaned the first time!

Highly Recommend! This home exceeded our expectations! The home was spacious, beautifully laid out, and exceptionally clean. The central location also made getting around to all our spots incredibly easy. Kathleen was very responsive to any and all questions I had. Five stars all around!
