Area is good for kids. Big yard. Kids enjoyed fishing (catch & release) from the dock. Pontoon boat was easy to maneuver. Quiet cove. Nice neighbors. Large deck to enjoy the lake view. Washer & Dryer worked well.

The property was immaculate and it was a very nice calm and quiet retreat. The host was amazing and very responsive! Definitely will stay again next time we come back to the area!

When my wife walked in her exact words were” this is probably the best VRBO we have stayed at!” From the house to the view to the outside deck… it was a perfect vacation house. Our kids (8-11) spent 8 hours fishing and swimming on the lake and not on screens! Huge win! Can’t say enough about this place!

Cozy cottage on beautiful Murray Lake

We had an amazing time on Murray Lake. The cottage was beautifully finished with everything you can imagine and then some. The host was amazing and attentive to our needs. We recommend renting the pontoon boat.. definitely worth the cost. The lake is gorgeous and clean and the fishing was superb. The neighbors are great and it’s quiet. We loved it so much and would definitely go there again. Thanks again!

Great stay for the 4th.

Overall, the property was great. Location on the lake was amazing and the house was lovely! We had 4 adults and 4 13/14 year old boys. The boys enjoyed fishing and swimming. The adults enjoyed the deck and relaxing. The house was clean and perfect for our group. The kitchen had all items needed for cooking, plus extra comfort items such as things for coffee and s'mores. There were plenty of towels and linens. Carrie was great to communicate with and was available during our stay if we needed anything. Great location for a relaxing weekend or stay longer and enjoy breweries in Grand Rapids. I would highly recommend this property.

Exceptional Stay on Murray Lake – A Truly Welcoming Home

We stayed at this outstanding VRBO in Lowell, MI for my mom’s 80th birthday, and it exceeded expectations. I’ve stayed at many VRBOs and Airbnbs—this one ranks at the very top.The home was spotless, even better than the photos, and the check-in process was seamless. The owner was friendly and easy to communicate with. My wife said it best: “This place feels warm and friendly, like they genuinely enjoy having people stay.” Every detail—big and small—was thoughtfully considered.One standout feature was a well-organized binder with clear instructions, local restaurant menus, and a history of both Murray Lake and the home. It gave us a deeper appreciation for the property and its story.A favorite moment: the complimentary s’mores station by the outdoor propane fire pit—simple, memorable, and reflective of the care put into every aspect of the home.We absolutely loved our stay and plan to return next year. Highly recommend.

This is a very nice property suited very nice for families. Nice deck with a beautiful view of the water. Very nice yard for yard games. The grill works great. Fishing is good off the dock.

Wonderful lakeside home! Great place for a family vacation. Lake Murray is beautiful & the ability to rent the pontoon was an added bonus! Communication was easy & prompt from start to finish!
