The home is very clean, well appointed, organized and has so many little touches and extras that make it welcoming. My two sisters and I enjoyed making it our home base as we explored all the local shoppes, restaurants, wineries and attractions in this area.

Lots of thoughtful extras made our stay especially enjoyable, including snacks and coffee K-Cups. The house is older but beautifully updated and very well maintained. There was plenty of space for our group, and the location was great!

Enjoyed our stay for six in our family on a beautiful weekend in Lake City. Our home was well equipped in the kitchen, comfortable for our sleeping, located close to the marina. Loved the charm of this restored older home.

The bedrooms and living spaces were super comfortable and well thought out. The kitchen was very clean and well stocked but we ate out mostly. Restaurants and coffee shops were very close by. We especially liked the mattresses and comfortable bedding. We had a great time!

Older home very well done inside with newer updates. Comfortable bed Only thing missing is central AC so the 2nd floor bedroom gets a little warmer. Ac 1st floor is good and fans 2nd floor are good overall well equipped home. Thanks

We were very happy with our stay. The house was very clean and the beds were comfortable. Nicely decorated. House is located within walking distance of Lake Pepin and the Marina. The grocery store is right down the street.

This home was top notch. From the moment we walked in, we knew we had made the right choice. From the cleanliness to the extra supplies, the host’s care is evident throughout. Everything shown in the listing was spot on.My wife, my brother, his daughter, and her spouse were in town for our father’s funeral, and this home made the trip a little more pleasant. We truly felt at home.We highly recommend this host and rental to anyone looking to enjoy their stay in Lake City!

My two old college friends and I absolutely loved staying at this wonderful vintage home. It immediately felt right--as soon as we walked in. It felt architecturally older . . . but in a very charming, character-filled way that is difficult to find these days (built-ins, laundry chutes, etc.). It was very clean--the two updated bathrooms were bright, pristine, and felt like new. My friends and I loved sitting in the window-filled living room and chatting about the old days . . . and also eating breakfast and looking through old photo albums in the comfortable dining room, which was filled with natural light. We each had our own bedroom--the three bedrooms were large and so very comfortable, clean, and pretty. Check-in is easy. The owner is nice and easily reachable if needed. Loved this home and highly recommend it!

Beautiful and Convenient

We just loved this house. The house is so clean and decorated so beautifully. We have a huge family of 6 and 4 teenagers and we were so comfortable!The location was so perfect and we were right up the road from town, the marina and the market! The kitchen was well stocked with everything needed for cooking and preparation for meals. The host was so patient with my rookie attempt at VRBO and made it so easy and painless. We will definitely come back.

We had a wonderful stay over the July 4th weekend! The home was extremely clean and the location was perfect. It was a short walk to the lovely local coffee shop (Rustic Coffeehouse) each morning for pastries and coffee and all the other little shops in town. We were also able to walk down to the lake to watch the awesome fireworks display. The host was very responsive to any questions I had before we arrived and during the entire stay. It was a very hot weekend and the house stayed plenty cool with a cooling unit downstairs and fans available in every upstairs bedroom that kept us cool. The entire home was well appointed including thoughtful details like a welcoming snack basket and individually wrapped vanity kits in the bathrooms. We would absolutely stay here again!

This house was SO easy to access! The host was gracious and always informative, allowed us early access on the day we checked in since some of us arrived earlier than others. When we got there, the house was immaculate and the host had left a lot of easy-to-access information about the house and the area as well. The bedrooms were lovely, the beds comfy and the architectural details charming. The bathrooms have both been completely updated too. The kitchen doesn't have a dishwasher, which might be an issue for some, but since we were family who hadn't seen each other for quite a while, we did a lot of catching up over dishes. :-) The kitchen is equipped well enough for us to serve complicated multi-dish dinners for 10, and the dining room easily sat all of us. We truly loved this house and hope that you, should you choose to stay here, will enjoy it as much as we did.
