Welcome to The Artisan: a curated building of custom designed lofts paying homage to the beautiful craftmanship of artisans. "The Weaver" is a 3Bd/2.5Bth retreat inspired by the warmth of handwoven textiles, enhanced by soaring ceilings, rich exposed beams, and cozy nooks & inviting spaces designed for the whole group. Nestled in the heart of Philadelphia's most sought-after neighborhood (Northern Liberties), additional amenities include private 1-car parking, a large courtyard w/garden, and gym.
THE SPACE
Welcome to The Artisan—a meticulously restored boutique building featuring custom-designed lofts that celebrate the timeless craftsmanship of artisans. Your unique rental, The Weaver, is a sophisticated 3-bedroom, 2.5-bath bi-level loft with 1 car off street parking in our private courtyard (electric vehicle charging available via Tesla super chargers). Inspired by the fluidity and movement of handwoven textiles, this beautifully designed space is a tribute to artisans who transform thread into art. Every detail reflects the intricate interplay of texture, pattern, and craftsmanship, creating an immersive and harmonious retreat. The property’s renowned designers worked tirelessly to craft and source one-of-a-kind pieces, capturing the true essence of The Artisan’s vision, while simultaneously creating the most unique and luxurious stay in Philadelphia. The space features:
• Private entrance direct from the courtyard and garden, offering added convenience and exclusivity.
• 1 car off street parking in our private and gated courtyard (Limited to small/medium sized vehicles as turning and navigating the courtyard is very tight)
• EV charging stations via Tesla superchargers
• Fully equipped kitchen with every essential , including locally sourced high end coffee
• Private washer/dryer access
• Shared access to gym, courtyard, garden, and multiple balconies & decks
LAYOUT:
The Waver is located on the 1st floor and lower level of our 4-story boutique building and features its own private entrance directly from the courtyard. Detailed layout and sleeping arrangements as follows:
Main Floor:
- Kitchen ; Dining ; Living room (Queen Sleeper Sofa)
- Laundry Room
- Half Bathroom
Lower Level:
- Bedroom #1 (Queen bed) ; Ensuite Full Bathroom #1
- Bedroom #2 (Full bed)
- Bedroom #3 (Full bed + 1x Single via bunk bed)
- Full Bathroom #2 (Bathtub)
ADDITIONAL PREMIUM AMENITIES:
• Soft linens and plush towels
• High-quality tea and locally sourced Philadelphia coffee
• Upscale shampoo, conditioner, and body care products
• Numerous outdoor spaces featuring shared access to a large open-air courtyard, a serene garden deck, and access to a communal balcony for moments of peace and relaxation
• Luggage drop-off and early check-in are available upon request (subject to availability)

Nestled in the heart of downtown Philadelphia's most sought-after neighborhood, Northern Liberties, everything the city has to offer is at your fingertips. The property is on a quiet, family-oriented street, yet just one block from the vibrant Northern Liberties strip and the iconic Piazza. Walking distance to Old City’s historic sites, the Convention Center, and lively & vibrant Fishtown neighborhood. One of Philly’s best neighborhoods due to its walkable layout, top-notch bars & cafes, and authentic international eateries offering no shortage of options. Quick and easy access to all major highways including 676 and rt 95. Distance to additional attractions:
- 3 min Uber to Old City and all historic sites!
- 8 min Uber to City Hall/Rittenhouse Square.
- 12 min Uber to The Franklin Institute/ Philadelphia Museum of Art/Ben Franklin Parkway.
- 12 min Uber to sports complexes
- 15 min Uber to University of Penn/Pennsylvania Hospital/Drexel University
ADDITIONAL BACKGROUND – THE ARTISAN:
The building boasts a rich history, having once served as the studio of a world-renowned artist famed for his large-scale projects focused on light and glass. The Artisan's full restoration occurred in 2024, and it has been carefully crafted to maintain its historic character and original charm, while seamlessly integrating modern and comforting amenities. In total, the building encompasses 15 units across 4 stories, with each unit being carefully curated to a unique type of Artisanry. Additional features of the property include a single-family home ; large open-air courtyard with water and rock fountain ; multiple outdoor decks and balconies ; private gym; and elevator access. If this rental is fully booked, or you’re in need of multiple rental units, we welcome you to click “contact host” so we can assist in sourcing your full accommodations.
GUEST ACCESS
Entire bi-level rental unit. Shared access to gym, courtyard, garden deck, common hall Juliet balcony, and elevator.
OTHER THINGS TO NOTE
1) Non-registered guests are prohibited at the property, without our prior consent and approval; All approved guests must vacate the property by 11pm.
2) Excessive noise is prohibited and violators are subject to fines and penalties. If excessive noise results in disturbances to other tenants, we reserve the right to evict you and your group without refund.
3) Pets: Dogs are the only type of pet permitted. Size and type of dog must be approved in advance. We reserve the right at our sole discretion to approve or deny any and all pets. Approved pets result in a $95.00 charge before VRBO's taxes and fees.
4) Cleaning During Your Stay: Cleaning during your stay must be requested at least 48 hours in advance, and the cleaning may occur between 9am - 1pm at our cleaner's discretion. Cleaning cost will be billed in advance and at the cleaning fee rate.
5)Please note that parking in the courtyard of our property is limited to small and medium-sized cars only. Due to the tight space, entering and turning around can be challenging. We kindly ask that you avoid bringing large trucks, SUVs, or vans, as they may not fit comfortably or safely.
If you, your group, or your reservation details are comprised of one or more of the following, we kindly ask that you send a property inquiry PRIOR TO BOOKING to avoid cancelation. You can do so by clicking ‘contact host’ under the listing property description and should include more about yourself and your group, age range of the group, and the total number of guests which will be at the property (whether spending the night or not):
*Local guests to the area or suburbs (within 45-minute drive) of the rental property
*University or High School students
*Reservation check-in falling within 10 days of booking
