We loved the house. Perfect for a couple. Super clean which is most important to us. Very comfortable king bed, kitchen well stocked. Host was very kind, responsive and provided some good eating suggestions. Location quiet, right across the street from the lake. Hot tub worked perfectly. Would rent again! We really liked the surrounding area too!

We love all our guests to have as wonderful a time - surrounded by nature with all you could need away from home. Casper bedding is definitely a great night’s sleep too! So glad you enjoyed and hope to see you again next year when the Florida heat chases y'all back north!

The cottage was spotless and beautifully appointed. The hot tub on the back porch was SO appreciated. Kitchen was superbly equipped, offering every tool needed to create a great meal. The bedroom was cozy and comfortable, one of the most comfortable beds I've slept in!

Loved the Cottage and the location, just steps away from the water. The hosts were very kind and accommodating. After paddling all day we relaxed in the hot tub, that was a nice perk. Loved the lake, not a lot of boat traffic which made it nice for kayaking We cooked all our meals at the cottage and had everything we needed. Thank you Emily and Bernie, we really enjoyed our stay and we'll be back.

Everything you could ever need or want in one perfect little spot. We loved the decor and the extra quality in all the things! The beds and linens were so nice and comfortable! Emily was always helpful with questions and recommendations. It was so clean and organized! We will definitely be back!! Highly recommend!

The home was lovely and very comfortable with plenty of room for the two of us. It was nice to step outside each morning onto the front deck and enjoy the sunshine with our coffee. The wonderful deck wraps around the side of the home to the rear, which features comfortable seating and a hot tub for relaxing.The kitchen is exceptionally well-equipped with many staples, so you don’t need to run to the store immediately upon arrival. Throughout the home, the furnishings are beautiful and capture a classic Maine aesthetic. The bedroom felt airy and featured a comfortable king-size bed complete with great pillows. Having the TV in the bedroom was a nice touch, allowing us to watch right from bed, and it offered plenty of stations so we always found something to watch. Finally, the home provides plenty of bath towels, so you are never at a loss for a dry one, and the shower works perfectly with its dual showerheads. I perfect home for the two of us as we had a lovely time. Thank you!

One of the better rentals we’ve stayed in as we’ve traveled extensively the past three years. Easy layout, comfy beds, good shower, very well equipped kitchen, good lighting, AC, charcoal grill, nice deck to sit on, access to the lake, and a private hot tub. And lots of places to hang stuff! We were able to leave our two kayaks down by the lake. Quiet, woodsy neighborhood and we could hear the loons. Highly recommended.

Honestly just PERFECT! If you’re looking at a few different spots in the area, just go yourself a favor and pick this one. The cottage was so comfy, cozy, and adorably decorated. Perfect size for the two of us. The hot tub on the deck was amazing, and looking up at the starry night sky at night was unforgettable. We saw at least 5 shooting stars! Emily was super responsive and helpful! Do NOT miss out on canoeing out to the sandbar from the private beach — spectacular!!

Great place

Great property. The lake was across the street with a dock and small beach area. They had beach towels and many beach toys like a canoe and paddle board at the beach. The kitchen had everything you could need. There was a deck out back with a hot tub and a balcony out front. The Good Life Market is close by and also has many gluten free food items. Emily was easy to communicate with and answered any questions very quickly.

Could not have been a more perfect experience! Emily was super communicative, flexible and a truly kind person! The house was immaculate and nicely decorated. The beds were so comfortable we even inquired about what brand they were!! (And I am super picky!) The sheets, comforters and towels are all high quality brands and so comfy! The hot tub was immaculate!! Very nicely appointed kitchen as well. You will not want for anything in this place except more time. We miss it already!

The Best Getaway

I cannot think of a single thing our host Emily could have done to make our stay even better. Her communucation was excellent. The property is spotless, well appointed, tastefully decorated and exceedingly comfortable. Great bed and shower. Soothing hot tub. Front and back decks to enjoy.The easy access to the lake, with the use of a canoe and paddleboards was a joy. Emily made herself available to answer all questions and provide splendid hospitality. I cannot recommend this property highly enough and hope that we will return before long.

My husband and I had a great stay at this cottage! It was just like the pictures and just as described. When we first booked the cottage there were no reviews, so it made me a bit nervous, but the cottage exceeded expectations! We loved the king size bed, the nice size kitchen with great appliances, peaceful living room with large windows and the wrap around deck. We didn’t get a chance to get in the hot tub, but it looked very nice and clean. The property was peaceful with trees surrounding the cottage. It was a very short walk to the lake and just as described. I went for morning walks around the wooded neighborhood and it was very nice and pleasant. The bedroom being a separate room was nice as I had to get up early and work a few days and my husband was able to sleep without being disturbed. Very comfy bed! Will stay here again!!

10 out of 10!

This was the absolute most perfect stay for myself and two daughters as we were visiting a friend in the area. it is a short walk across the street (literally like a minute) to the private-access lake, which was quiet and serene. The cottage was fully of character and charm and also pristine. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed. The murphy bed was comfortable and fun for my 12-year old daughter to have some private space. The king bed in the bedroom was huge, possibly a California king. TV and AC worked like a charm. Great, easy communication with host. hot tub was fun for kids (and me!) Really, it couldn't have been better. A for Emily!
