We had a wonderful stay. We enjoyed the lake view and access to the community amenities. Sitting in the screened porch area was divine and it was close to lake lure and other activities. Overall it was a wonderful time and a beautiful lodge. Thank you!

This was an amazing rental and resort. Plenty of space for a party of 12. Great Lake with many possibilities. Never had a problem getting responses when needed. Will be back!!

Property was well taken care of, clean and supplies were sufficient. It for family of twelve well. Liked the resort amenities close by. Great fireworks on the lake on the 4th. Beds could get a little bigger and more comfortable but. Good overall.

Dancing Waters Lodge is truly a classic lakefront home that accommodates larger families or group gathers comfortably and has a strong following of repeat guests. The listing is upfront about all queen size beds. Glad you liked it enough to request a return stay again next summer.

Home Away From Home

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: 2026 was our eighth year returning to Lake Lure and Dancing Waters Lodge. Our family loves the location inside Rumbling Bald resort. We are able to take advantage of the Rumbling Bald amenities but would never have to leave the property because there is so much to do like fishing from the dock, kayaking, paddle boarding, hanging out in the hot tub and hiking. This house is clean and has been maintained through the years. Chimney Rock is nearby so we always spend time there. There is also a great grocery store only fifteen minues away.Check-in and check-out could not be easier and the prpoerty manager is available to answer any questions you may have.I would highly recommend this home for groups of all ages. Our oldest family member to stay this year is 90 years old! I will be booking next years stay at DWL very soon!

We had a wonderful stay! Management was great to work with and the house was perfect. We had everything we needed for a great holiday.

September at Dancing Waters

The house was warm and inviting with a super view of the lake below. It was very convenient to the surrounding towns, and attractions Everything was very clean and well appointed. Our family is already looking forward to staying there again. We highly recommend this home for any vacation purposes.

Great lake house get away

The Dancing Waters home was a great getaway lake house. Property managers were easily contacted and accessible and location was very nice. We enjoyed being in the smaller lake for swimming, paddle boating and fishing but right down the street from Lake Lure and the other amenities. Very clean and comfy rental.

Great rental!

There were 9 adults in our group and we had plenty of room for everyone. We enjoyed the property and the lake very much. The owners are very responsive. The house was exceptionally clean!

Best family vacation ever!

Everything about Dancing Waters at Lake Lure was perfect - from the location to the amenities. We had 7 people staying there very comfortably, ranging in age from 16 to 79. There is so much to do right there (fishing, kayaking, canoeing, admiring the view), that everyone was satisfied. My mother-in-law remarked this was the best place she's stayed on vacation, and she has been everywhere and stayed in some truly excellent places. I highly recommend this property!

Lovely Family Getaway

We have spent a long weekend at this property for the last two years. There are 11 of us (three couples and five kids). The house fits us perfectly. The kitchen is well stocked, and there's a nice long indoor table. The dock is lovely and the water is deep.

Great location for family fun

Loved this place! Had kids aged 5-10, parents, and grandparents. being part of Rumbling Bald was very convenient, having access to the pools, beach, restaurant (great pizza, btw) made the visit even more enjoyable. Family loved the paddleboards and kayaks, as well as fishing off the dock. Apple picking, waterfall hikes, and creameries all within 45min-1 hr, so plenty of activities to do. Beds were comfortable, and kitchen was well stocked. Grocery is 20 min away but very nice and large. We would definitely come back!!!

Memorial Day week at Dancing Waters Lodge

We had a fantastic week at Dancing Waters Lodge. The home was spacious and well appointed. It was immaculately clean and was very well stocked for cooking and kitchen supplies. The lake was beautiful and very tranquil, quiet and peaceful. Weather was fantastic low 70’s low humidity, and generally a nice breeze. Our property managers were fantastic. Couldn’t have asked for a nicer week. We will be back.

Just Beautiful

It was even more beautiful than described! The early mornings on the Lake was something I've only seen in movies! It truly is breath takingly beautiful! The whole family each had a comfortable sleeping area and plenty of restrooms to use! Surrounding areas had so much to do for whole family (Zip lining, canoeing, kayaking, hiking, golfing, to name a few) It was perfect for us all to come together and celebrate our 40th anniversary! Highly recommend! Thank you for sharing your place!
