We had such a wonderful weekend here with friends! The mountain views were beautiful, and we especially loved enjoying dinner out on the back deck every night. The house was a perfect place to relax and spend time together.

The house was great! Everything was clean and comfortable. There was plenty of space for our crew spread out. We enjoyed being so close to the lookout.

It was huge! So many wonderful gathering spaces: the kitchen, dining area, living room, family room, decks. The bedrooms were spacious and had plenty of room for storage. A private screened in porch was also a nice surprise on the main floor level. Ample bathrooms and linens.We appreciated the thoughtful amenities and items in the rooms, like the sound machines and fans. I don’t leave a lot of reviews, but that’s worth calling out as a great thing you did well.

We booked this beautiful home for a weekend family reunion. The layout of the home was perfect. We could gather but each family had their own space. The views were stunning and the wrap around deck was amazing. The location was great too! There were hiking trails all around and many were 2 year-old friendly! Of course proximity to breweries and wineries was also a plus. We truly felt like we were on a mini vacation. Kristen was a great host. Each time I had a question the turn around was super quick. Additionally, the house was spotless, well furnished and had comfortable beds. A true gem!

This mountain home is wonderful inside and out! It has plenty of space for a large group but still feels warm and cozy for a couple and their dog (that's us!).From the comfy beds to the inviting entertaining spaces and oversized dining tables, every detail prepares you for a relaxing and memorable mountain adventure.The decks are fantastic! Nestled in the treetops on the mountain, you can enjoy a beautiful sunset view from the main deck, that people gather at the overlook next door to see, even when the trees are full.The quiet, cut-de-sac street was perfect for daily walks with our dog, and the mountain resort offers multiple trails and restaurants. A scenic drive takes you to town with more great restaurants and breweries, with wineries and grocery stores just a bit farther.We loved our stay and would definitely come back!

An amazing view of the valley, the home was gorgeous, well stocked with essential items and more. The beds were very comfortable, the whole house had a comfy, welcoming atmosphere. The adventures we went on were within 30 minutes of the house.We had a wonderful time there!

I cannot say enough great things about this amazing house! I almost don’t want to leave this review because I want to keep this house all to myself! Lol. We’ve been coming up to Wintergreen for decades. We have not left the house the entire week because there is no need to! There’s a beautiful sunset from the deck every single night, with additional views from the overlook next-door. There is a trail literally right off the overlook and so much to enjoy about this house. You absolutely don’t need to leave. We’ve had a few cloudy/rainy days and they were absolutely perfect on the screened in porch, as well as in the hot tub. We didn’t even get to utilize the downstairs game room because we’ve been enjoying all the other parts of the house. We’ll always book this house in the future, if available! It has been the idyllic getaway that we truly needed in the middle of a move from Va. Beach to Richmond!

This home was just right for our family of nine adults and children, ages 6 to 80. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was nicely stocked, and the whole house was squeaky clean and well maintained. Especially nice was the fancy fireplace on the deck which provided a stunning sunset view and a roomy area to make s'mores. The hot tub, pool table, dart board and small "extra" living room gave the teen agers a lot to do and space of their own. Kristen took such good care of us - a perfect host.

View not as good with tree leaves on but great outlook next door.Good hiking all around.Many good wineries close.Pictures from a few years ago.Fireplace heats whole upstairs well.
