Modern, secluded cabin surrounded by woods. Access to private Lake in the Sky for paddle boarding, kayaking, fishing etc. Less than a mile from GSMNP boundary and Gold Mine trailhead. 34 miles to Townsend, 37 miles to Pigeon Forge and Dollywood, and 40 miles to Gatlinburg. Close to Tail of the Dragon. Covered front porch and screened in back porch. 2 kayaks included. Sleeps 6. Lastly, please be aware road and driveway are gravel.

Very nice place and very secluded. My wife saw some turkey off the back porch and we saw a few black bears on the Foothills Parkway a few miles away. I think the only reason we saw bear was because some smart person threw food out there car window which attracts the wildlife. Very safe and quiet property and will stay again!

A lovely little hideaway! This beautiful house was well stocked with everything you need to enjoy the area and to enjoy your time at the cabin. The front porch was great for relaxing and swinging. The large TV was perfect for World Cup games!I would highly recommend.

Our family of 6 stayed 5 nights. We very much enjoyed our accomodations. It was wonderful to have a 3 bathrooms, a full and spacious kitchen. We made good use of the kayaks and paddle board and really loved the porches. We would definitely recommend you stay here.

Property is difficult to find. Directions are not accurate if you come from the Knoxville Airport the way Google brings you in. And there is no internet service in the area. Gas grill didn’t work. Dishwasher didn’t work. Nearly continuous baying of dogs on nearby properties interrupted the otherwise tranquil environment. House is very well done especially if you like to cook. Large kitchen with big island is well supplied with utensils. Kitchen opens up to large living room with ample seating for several people. Large front porch with porch swings and rocking chairs was very nice. Altogether a nice house with a remote setting well suited for families or friends to get together.

Hello, we do apologize for the issues you experienced during your stay. We know that it can be hard to find and GPS isn’t always accurate, which is why we include detailed directions from the location it will consistently get you to. We send those to every guest with the check-in instructions, but we will try to add more details and draw more attention to the importance of them. As for the dishwasher, I was able to run it with no problem this week, but I don’t doubt you had trouble with it. Another guest reported not being able to start it a while back, but it worked and was used several times afterwards, so I assumed it was a fluke and didn’t look into it more. That’s my fault and I’ll investigate it further. I’ll take care of the grill as well. There’s not much I can do about the dogs, but I understand the frustration and wish I could do more to address it. We do appreciate your input and hope you were able to enjoy your stay otherwise.

This is such a beautiful home, with attention to our comfort and needs. The cozy feeling of a mountain cabin retreat away from the city, with a gorgeous drive nearby and lakes to enjoy anytime. The hosts were so kind and helpful when we arrived. The decor is so beautiful. It is such an experience on top of the world overlooking the Great Smoky Mountains. It gave us an amazing vacation.

This is a beautiful property. It’s not a good location for motorcycles as there’s a loose gravel road into the Property. Area is beautiful, surrounded by a lake and beautiful cabin like setting. Scott has been great to work with, he’s very responsive..Hoping to get back to this property again in the future.
