We loved the Villa. 9 of us went and there is so much space that we were never under each other’s feet.The kitchen area was lovely, we had a few meals in to make full use of it.The sun coverage in the pool area is really good. We have just got back so our trip was in July. By 8am it was nice and hot and fully in the sun. At around 4pm the sun is out of reach of the pool area putting it in the shade.The location is on the outskirts of any busy area, so I would recommend doing some research prior (trip advisor was hit and miss on recommendations) to going or have a good walk around too and spot what bars and restaurants you like the look of. There are lot of nice restaurants scattered about and down roads you wouldn’t expect, so please cover as much area as you.The most lively area at night was near the Iguana beach, although we had a lot of night caps at the Piranha bar on the nearest beach to the villa.There are plenty of shops and a nice cafe/bakery next to the petrol station around the corner that sell ice cream/ cakes / sandwiches that we used a lot.Chania city centre isn’t too far away, which is beautiful with plenty of great bars and restaurants. We got a bus which has a bus stop just to the left of the villa (use bus 21 - please note these buses get very busy) and is about 10/15 mins long. We walked back one night, which takes about 45 minutes. Oh and you will soon get used to the noisy creatures that live in the trees
