The Space:
Step into a comfortable and inviting home featuring three well-appointed bedrooms and three full bathrooms, offering privacy and ease for every guest. Whether you're unwinding in the spacious living room, preparing meals in the fully equipped kitchen, or enjoying morning coffee on the porch, you'll find everything you need for a memorable stay. The home’s serene lakefront setting offers the perfect backdrop for fishing, kayaking, or simply soaking in the views from the private dock.

Guest Access:
Guests will have full access to the entire home, including all indoor and outdoor areas. You'll enjoy a fully equipped kitchen, cozy living spaces, all three bedrooms and bathrooms, and outdoor areas including the yard. On-site parking is available with space for two vehicles in the driveway and up to three additional vehicles in the designated parking area beside it.

*** Boat Dock/Slip Information ***
Guests may use the private dock, subject to availability. Boat slips are not automatically included with the house rental and require advance arrangements. There is a $25 nightly fee for overnight use. If you’re planning to bring a boat, please let us know ahead of time so we can coordinate with the property owner to confirm availability.

Lake Haven Retreat is ideally located in Tavares—affectionately known as America’s Seaplane City. Just 10 minutes away, the downtown waterfront area features dining, parks, and events right along the shores of Lake Dora. Venture 20 minutes to nearby Mount Dora, a beloved small-town destination known for its boutique shops, weekend festivals, and charming historic district.

Located directly on the Harris Chain of Lakes, this area is a popular destination for fishing tournaments and boating adventures. Whether you're here for the water, the events, or the laid-back atmosphere, Tavares is a hidden gem waiting to be explored.

Getting Around:
The property is easily accessible by car, with ample on-site parking available. Tavares itself is a walkable and golf cart–friendly town. Major attractions like Orlando International Airport, Disney World, and Universal Studios are just a 45-minute drive away, making Lake Haven Retreat a perfect home base for day trips to Central Florida's most exciting destinations.

Other Things to Note:
The laundry facility is located in the middle of the RV Park (about 25 ft away from the house) and operates with coin-operated machines.
