Our host was very informative re: Villa La Paz and the surrounding area. We had a delightful stay and the view of the beach and ocean from the balcony was awesome.

Villa La Paz #15 is in a beautiful, quiet resort with easy access to a black sand beach with clear, warm water and great snorkeling. There are two pools and a delicious restaurant on site. The villa is a clean, light, well-appointed space with air conditioning in every bedroom as well as the common spaces. The hosts are very responsive, wanting their guests to have the best experience possible. Kitchen had every thing we needed.

Great communication and easy check in with specific directions to the Villa. This was our first trip to Costa Rica and we really appreciate all the recommendations and communication. The staff onsite are very helpful and friendly. We loved this specialcove and black soft sand with infinity pooloverlooking the beach. Villa is stocked and comfortable! Easy access to multiple beaches and day trips in the area really made us feel like we could explore easily. We also just enjoyed relaxing in the area- Coco is so close for more restaurants and local restaurants. Highly recommend, our family of 4 had a trip of a lifetime.

The hosts were so great to work with. Friendly, responsive, and genuinely invested in making sure we had the best possible stay. I asked for many recommendations about food and attractions and they gave us local recommendations and arranged details we didn’t even think to ask about. We felt completely supported from booking all the way through checkout. It was like having a good friend helping us.

This CR home exceeded every expectation. The setting was absolutely beautiful, and the property had everything we could possibly need — a fully stocked kitchen, snorkeling gear, beach towels, bbq grill, etc. The home was spotless, beds were very comfortable, and furnishings were beautiful. The home was a short walk to pools, beautiful black sandy beaches, a nice restaurant, kayak rentals, mesmerizing tide pools, and incredible sunset views. The surrounding forrest is home to howler monkeys and so many birds. The owners were very responsive and generous with local tips for our vacation. The resort staff went above and beyond, helping us schedule beach side massages and arrange transportation and activities. We definitely took advantage of their free book library. Coco was a short Uber ride away, with fun shops, bars, restaurants, and grocery stores nearby for anything else we needed. The ride from the airport was only 45 minutes Highly recommend this home for anyone looking for a relaxing, beautiful, and well-equipped Costa Rica getaway — we can’t wait to come back!

The Perfect Costa Rica Getaway — Safe, Stunning, and Hosted With HeartOur stay at Villa La Paz was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment we arrived at Bahia Pez Vela, we felt welcomed, safe, and completely taken care of. The villa sits directly above a gorgeous black sand cove on Costa Rica’s Pacific coast — the kind of place that instantly makes you slow down, breathe deeper, and feel like you’ve found a secret hideaway. The hosts were incredible. Every question was answered quickly, warmly, and with genuine care. They guided us through everything from airport tips to exploring hidden nearby beaches, and they checked in just enough to make us feel supported without ever being intrusive. It truly felt like staying at a friend’s home — a friend who really wants your trip to be amazing.

Incredible condo resort on the hillside over a secluded black sand beach with a yummy restaurant and great concierge! Stayed 4 nights and wish we stayed 7. You can kayak or snorkel off the beach, play in tide pools and watch the sunset every night. In the am you’ll be visited by parrots and howler monkeys and in the afternoon nap in a hammock by the beach. The sand is black, so hot during the day, but so soft. Sunsets are beyond compare. The condo is well apportioned and comfy with great beds, ac in each room, and epic views. Great kitchen to cook in and would be comfy for up to 6 or 7 guests. Quick walk down a steep hill to the beach and restaurant. Concierge can arrange lots of day trips. Would recommend having a car so you can check out some local beaches/towns on your own. Wis we could have stayed longer.

We had a wonderful spring break with our teenage kids. While we loved exploring the area and finding other beaches and hikes (and nearby zip lining and boogie boarding at Tamarindo) we kinda preferred to stay close to this beautiful cove. Almost everyday we explored the tidal pools (forever changing), watched stunning sunsets from different spots depending on the tides, snorkeled in the bay, read on the beach and often shifted to the pool for an afternoon snack and drink. Our mini adventures so close to the house were just right for relaxing, popping up to the house (5 min walk) for lunch pr a change of gear, and taking in the beauty of this place. We also did a fishing trip- booked with the property host. It was an amazing 4 hours. They picked us up right on the beach, and we lucked out and the black tuna were running. The captain and guide fileted the fish and cooked it up back at the house. That was definitely a highlight for my son. This is just such a great spot to stay close or get to the many adventures within an hour or 2.

We loved our stay at Villa La Paz! Such a beautiful spot with an amazing ocean view. Great quiet place to rejuvenate yet close to activities and town. Our family enjoyed regular visits from the howler monkeys and other wildlife throughout our stay. The house was so comfortable and stocked with everything we needed. Restaurant on site was so convenient and delicious! The hosts were super responsive with any question we had. Highlights were snorkeling right from the beach, exploring the tide pools, relaxing at the pool and many adventures. So much to do and more to explore. Will be back for sure!
