You must stay in this renovated school house, full of charm and amenities. We were celebrating a special 70 th birthday and enjoyed soaking in the beautiful hot tub, having a roaring fire in the firepit and listening to nature.. Inside,we enjoyed the visiting space, walk-in showers, the cozy beds, lovely fireplace… all in a country setting.! We enjoyed two nights in this A Vrbo, and hope to make it an annual trip!!! Krista and Lynn were extremely gracious and gave us a requested early check-in, which allowed us to just really enjoy our accommodations before spending the next day in Galena shopping ,eating and enjoying all that Galena has to offer. Thank you, Krista and Lynn for making my 70th birthday so special!

The schoolhouse property was very clean and provided plenty of space for my husband and me. Communication from the host was excellent and made both the check-in and check-out process simple and stress-free. We also really enjoyed the outdoor area, which was a great addition to our stay. The only minor issue was that the kitchen had only a few frying pans, and they were quite small. Since there were only two of us, this was not a major problem, but it could be challenging for larger groups. Overall, we had a very positive experience and would definitely rent this property again.

We really enjoyed our stay! It was clear that the owners put lots of thought into the small details in the renovation of the school to become a house. The house is absolutely beautiful, the hot tub feels very private and the view of the country is idyllic. If we come back to the area, we would definitely stay here again.

Just got home from our weekend here, it couldn’t have an accommodated a family of five any better. So clean, everything we needed and more and within minutes from everything we needed I especially appreciated all the towels for the hot tub, and the fact that they had an air fryer. We will absolutely be back.
