Tucked along the peaceful shores of Buttermilk Cove, this cozy, newly remodeled retreat offers the perfect blend of quiet privacy and coastal beauty. With 3 cozy bedrooms featuring 2 king beds and 1 queen bed, guests can enjoy a peaceful night's sleep. The 2 bathrooms offer both a shower and bathtub, along with hair dryers for added convenience. Our 2 spacious decks overlooking the ocean is a perfect place to relax and recharge. Our 2 large living rooms with TV are great for family to spread out to enjoy their quiet time. Our quiet, private home is only minutes from downtown Brunswick's restaurants, cafe's, shops and Bowdoin College. There is a public boat launch just minutes down the street. Our home is a short scenic drive to Harpswell's coastline, trails, and lobster shacks.

Home was adequate for our family of 2 children and 4 adults. The children were able to explore safely and the adults were able to relax. We loved the area.

Very roomy home with many amenities. Very good contacts with host. Beautiful views from the living room windows and very large deck. Access to the property is via a short gravel drive. Steps down to the front door are in disrepair but there is easy access over the grass.

House was very clean with the exception of some dust/sand on floors, even though you could not see it walking on the floors in bare feet always felt that that maybe a good washing was needed. We just swept with the broom/vacuum and it was better. But one thing that really stood out when arriving is the cement stairs dug into the hill that you needed to go down to get to the house. So glad that there was a railing to hold onto because the stairs were not level at all. This posed a real threat to falling or tripping either up or down them. Would really suggest getting them fixed. Other than that the house was as described and lovely. We did have to notify the house manager though that maybe the door lock needed a new battery since it didn't work when we were leaving.

We rented the house June 12-17, 2026. The location was easy to get to, it was quiet, and the beds were very comfortable. Unfortunately, we encountered a number of issues which reduced our review and indicated a lack of attention to detail that I would expect in order to give full stars.The owner/manager kindly allowed for an early check-in. However, an hour after the agreed time, the door code was not active. There was confusion but it was resolved quickly.The refrigerator was beeping loudly and displaying a "Power Outage" message. The owner/manager only provided a vague suggestion and "I don't know." We eventually researched and found the solution on our own.The kitchen sink drain was clogged and drained so slowly that it backed up frequently.There was an air gap problem in the drains such that running water down one drain pushed sewer gas up another drain, it was a very bad smell.The bathtubs were very slippery, they need some kind of nonslip decals or something.There were loose boards on entry deck that were sticking up - multiple people stumbled on them.Cobwebs were very noticeable throughout.There were burnt out lights in the downstairs closet and upstairs shower.The grill was very dirty.There was men's underwear (not ours!) on the deck. There were only used sponges in the kitchen to use for washing up. People are weird. I don't want to use a sponge that someone else used for ... what?

Dear Diana, Thank you for taking your time to give us your feedback. We take great pride of serving our guests with the highest care and commitments. We appreciate many great reviews, but we take great honors to receive the one that is not so great. This gives us an opportunity to improve our job. Upon your suggestions, we immediately had the plumbing situation fixed, the deck board was replaced. The caused of light was out was because a circuit breaker was tripped, which an electrician figured it out and resolved it. When the electrical circuit tripped, it also caused the refrigerator beeping, for which I did not aware of. At the time you called me, I did not know how/why a new refrigerator was beeping. It took me longer trying to figure out cause of the beeping before you did, for which I thank you. We informed our cleaning crew to pay closer attention to details on their job. We implemented a checklist and required them to go through it every single time to avoid future missteps. We thank you again Diana for taking the time to write this. We want assure our future guests that we are on top of keeping our home a clean, safe, comfortable and enjoyable place for our guests to have a great experience. Sincerely, Tina
