This was a special birthday celebration weekend. We chose this location because it was close to the Luray Caverns, which was our first stop. The house was perfect, being able to bring our fur babies a huge plus but the porch took it over the top. Tony was super easy to get ahold of and answered all our questions. It was a wonderful weekend and I highly recommend this house for your next visit to Luray.

We really enjoyed our visit. My dogs and I loved the porch. The weekend was so hot so we didn’t spend that much time outside. One thing I would have liked to have is a second aircon in the home but other than that it was great, very close to the caverns. I would stay again.

Host was amazing and accomdodating. The only negative was the wood burning stove had a do not use sricker on it and we were looking forward to that. Other than that everything was great we had a great time thank you

Unfortunately we had the worst rental experience. Arrived at 9pm to find the place in a disastrous state and clear evidence the cleaner had left during an incident with a mouse. Beds not made, no clean towels, food spill in kitchen, supplies pulled out of closet, shredded toilet paper, and mouse trap with crumbs. Host had 5 extra hours to get this handled from 4pm scheduled check-in to when we arrived. No call or message received until we contacted them at 9pm. Nowhere near to go that late, so unfortunately had to find linens and make do. Kids really upset. Fouled the entire experience. Host only refunded cleaning fee. Cleaning came next day and provided only the bare minimum of 4 towels for 4 people. Besides all that, neighbors target shooting and loose dog were unpleasant. Very old, cheap, unmatching furnishings. Broken coffee pot. Wasn’t expecting luxury, but cleanliness is absolutely 100% necessary for a rental.

I’m very sorry you arrived to an unclean home with unmade beds, missing towels, and a broken coffee pot—and that you didn’t hear from me before reaching out. Having to make do so late, especially with your children upset, was unacceptable. The next-day cleaning and limited towels did not make things right, and I understand why the cleaning-fee refund felt insufficient. I also regret the disturbances from the neighbors and loose dog. I’ll review these issues with our team so they can be addressed.

Aside from food, the place was already stocked with everything you need. Nice comfortable setup. Spent a lot of time hanging out on the deck and enclosed porch just enjoying the view and sounds of nature. Nice and fairly secluded spot but still close enough to venture out and explore what Luray has to offer. We visited Cooter's place (The Dukes of Hazard Museum), The Luray Rescue Zoo, The Luray Caverns and the other attractions they have at the cavernsand found us a fishing spot. Just enjoyed our time away from the busy city life. Would recommend a stay here for anyone wanting to same.
