This cabin retreat was the best VRBO home we have enjoyed and so perfect for our three-family, week-long stay in Truckee. It exceeds all of the pictures and descriptions! We enjoyed meals and games in the big, well-stocked kitchen and especially enjoyed hanging out around the bar. We spent a lot of time outside - the adults enjoyed sitting together on the deck while the kids enjoyed the flat, spacious lot for games and fun. All of the little details in this house make for a relaxing and enjoyable time. There were plenty of supplies, we loved all of the decorating touches, we enjoyed a pizza night with the pizza oven, and we loved having fun with the jukebox. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect house and stay. Tracy and Bill are the most gracious hosts, checking in with us before, during, and after our trip. We will definitely be back!

We thoroughly enjoyed a 3 generation family gathering at this well-appointed cabin. Lovely decor and lots of kitchen ware. There was a big snow in the days just prior and during our arrival. Being a relatively flat lot and near a primary road was greatly appreciated for easy access to the property. There was room for playing in the snow in as well. The decorated trees by the house added to the festive atmosphere. There was also ample parking for our 3 vehicles. The cousins enjoyed the "kids' room" with plenty of books and toys. The gentle rise of carpeted stairs was greatly appreciated by senior members of the group as well as our 1 year old. It helped us all navigate a 2 story property safely. Thank you so much Tracy & Bill for a wonderful week and facilitating memories for a lifetime.
As the weather warmed, the snow shed from the roof.

The host was more than welcoming, helping us with information on the house, transportation around the area, snow ski and play areas, and anything else we asked which had not already been volunteered. The hosts were phenomenal. They were quick with responses to our needs and our curiosity. The house was all that the internet description showed and much more. The house was fully equipped with everything one needed in the kitchen, in the living area, the bedrooms, and the bathroom. Just bring your clothes and your toothbrush! The garage was also fully equipped with items we needed to clear the driveway after an 18 inch snow fall. Snow shovels, ice scrapers, a snowblower, material to de-ice, and sleds. Our family of 14 with adult children, grandchildren, husbands, and boy friends along with 3 year old twins had a wonderful five nights, playing games, watching movies, and playing in the snow. The house and amenities exceeded our expectations.I can’t end without telling about location. Close to ski areas and the town of Truckee. It is very easy to give the host and the house five stars. It deserves more.
