rogue river beauty

We absolutely enjoyed ourselves in your beautiful home! The house was perfect and it was really hard to leave and go to a hotel for our last few days. The house had everything we could possible need. We enjoyed cooking in the beautiful kitchen many evenings. The river was so amazing and calming. The location was so peaceful and easy to find. We will definitely be returning. Thanks for an amazing stay

A little slice of heaven!

Beautiful property, inside and out. Furnishings were super clean and top notch. Beds comfy, rooms spacious and inviting. Absolutely stunning views of the river and such a quiet refuge. Didn't want to leave! All this for less than what we would have paid for the so-called "premier" hotel in town! Oh, and the neighbors are fantastic as well! We will be back...

The property is beautiful

The only thing that I recommend is adding AC and access to the river. It's too steep and the neighbors were not very friendly with letting us walk across their lawns to gain access to the river.

Thank you Kenny, we also think the property is beautiful. We also installed a staircase down to the river after you visited (you were our first renter) that provides access to a nice beach in front of our house (see updated pictures). We don't have a fence between our lawn and our neighbors' lawn that would mar the view, and now there is no need to go across their lawn to access the river. We installed the air conditioner at the end of 2017.

Gorgeous views

We recently rented this home while in town visiting family. There were six of us and had plenty of room. The house is very well appointed and the views of the river cannot be beat. We had a quick question regarding household supplies and the owners were quick to respond and address our question. If you are looking for a nice, quiet place to getaway with a quick drive into town, this is a great option. The pictures of the views outside really don't do it justice!

Beautiful and clean home. Tranquil and private location, truly right on the river.

House is clean, tastefully decorated and furnished with everything you need for a week stay. Kitchen is stocked with dishes and utensils to make a gourmet meal. Location is close to shopping and downtown but right on the gorgeous river. How wonderful it was to wake up to a cup and coffee and enjoy breakfast while watching the birds in and out of the river. We couldn't have asked for anything better. Small containers of shampoo, etc. in the bathroom and the bottle of wine left for us was a nice touch. The only negative I can say is maybe a new vegetable peeler and the curtains in one of the bedrooms didn't quite cover the window width-wise so the sun would come in early in the morning. But really, that is the only negatives I could find. We would definitely stay again if we are in the area. Thanks Mark! The Estrella Family

Beautiful riverside house

We thoroughly enjoyed our month in this wonderful house on the Rogue River. The property adjoins the river so we enjoyed unobstructed river views through the large picture windows. The house is modern, comfortable, and spotless, and it has everything needed for a comfortable stay, including a fully stocked kitchen for cooking and baking. We enjoyed long walks in the scenic semi-rural neighborhood. The terrain is mostly flat and there is little traffic. We highly recommend this property and we would stay here again.

Great property, great experience

We stayed here for a month on a remote work trip and had a very nice time. This three-bedroom home on a very large river front property offered the space and amenities we needed for both of us to work and the kids to play. The internet was fast enough for all our video call and TV streaming needs. Grants Pass has lots of good restaurants, including family friendly ones. We were able to fit in lots of interesting weekend activities, including trips to Portland and Crater Lake, as well as a guided fishing trip on the Rogue River where my daughter caught a steelhead! I definitely recommend this property.

Fabulous place!

The pictures for this house don’t do it justice. It is a beautifully updated home right on the river. It was comfortable, spotless, well appointed, and great location close to town. We hated to leave and would rent it again in a heartbeat! Thank you for offering such a wonderful property!

Rogue River Retreat

Our family group of 6 (from California and Washington) met for week of fun on the Rogue River. The house fit our needs perfectly. Very clean, well stocked and on the Rogue River. Kayaked from several of the parks in the area and pulled out right at the house. Fished along the river bank. Loved watching the deer, ducks, geese and osprey along the banks of the river. We would definitely consider this property again when we return to the Grants Pass area.

Paradise on the Rogue River

We loved our stay at Mark and Yana’s home in Grants Pass. They were great with answering our questions about the area before we got there and while we stayed. The home is really nice - great kitchen, everything you need. It’s a very unique place on the Rogue River and two of the nights we cooked fresh salmon on the barbecue that we caught that very day. We dined out by the river with a nice Oregon Pinot Noir - it was pretty perfect. We floated on inter tubes down the river which was super fun - especially for our teenage daughter. We highly recommend this home and the wonderful hosts!

We've had a lot of great guests, but Randy and his family and friends may be the best yet. We got a chance to meet them by staying in a separate apartment at the property, and they were fun to be around and took good care of the house. They went out fishing with a guide one morning, came back with a large salmon and steelhead, grilled the salmon on the BBQ and gave us some - delicious is an understatement. The boys went out again with the guide and caught steelhead, some of which they again gave to us. They bought inner tubes and left them at the house for future guests to use. They wouldn't take anything in return, but if they ever make the trip back from Florida we hope they would stay with us at a discounted rate.

Lovely house with river view

We very much enjoyed our stay. There are three bedrooms, two with queen beds, and one with a king-sized bed, and two full baths. The kitchen is beautiful with an stovetop, oven, a toaster oven, a large refrigerator, a regular and a Keurig coffee maker, and a dish washer. Pretty much everything you need to cook, clean, or bath was provided. Even a few books and games. There was even a washer and dryer. Our only complaints (and they're minor) were: 1. The stovetop is electric. Not a big deal unless, like me, you don't like to use them. 2. The owner provided directions to the location, as Google Maps sends you to *almost* the correct location. However, we arrived at night, so it took a while to find the house. A map might be nice. 3. The views of the river were fantastic. The sofa and chairs in the house were nice but not terribly comfortable. It would have been nice to just sit in a cozy chair and watch the river. 4. There is a TV and WIFI, but no DVD player. 5. While there is access to the river, there is only a small area on the property to stand/sit right next to the river, enough for one beach towel or two. Overall, this is a nice spot.

Very nice stay

We have a family of 7 stay at this beautiful river property. The view from the home was great! Had great big windows to view the river and scenery. The house was perfect size for all of us and nicely kept. We enjoyed our stay. Will be looking to book again on our next trip up to Oregon.

Spectacular

This house is absolutely gorgeous. It has everything you need and more. It's location is central to many activities in and around Grants Pass. The kitchen is stocked with any and all supplies one may need. It is very clean, impeccably decorated and very comfortable. The direct river access is great for the whole family as is the picnic table and fire pit. Mark was easy to get a hold of and communicated clearly the expectations of the house as well as details regarding things happening to the house during our stay there (the dryer needed to be fixed). My family and I had a wonderful time here! Thank you very much Mark!

Beautiful location on the River. Very neat, clean and comfortable.

We stayed here while visiting family in Grants Pass. It was December, so the weather was a little gloomy, but it was nice to wake up and see the river, and the deer and birds. The house was very neat and clean, the beds were comfortable and the owners were very responsive. We would like to come back in the summer.

Excellent spot on the Rogue

We had a wonderful stay at this property. The house was clean and fully-stocked. It's at the end of a private road so there's no traffic. There's a big grassy lawn for the kids to play, and the view of the Rogue can't be beat. We'll definitely stay here again next time we're in Grants Pass

Wonderful Little Paradise!

We absolutely loved our stay at this wonderful home on the Rouge! The house was redone very nicely and you can’t beat the view of the beautiful Rouge! Great location from town too, with everything fairly close. Mark was always quick to respond when we needed something. Ready to plan our next trip back!

Beautiful location and home on the Rogue River

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely home. Beautiful inside and out, this location had everything we needed for a relaxing visit with family. Spectaular View on the Rogue River.

Private property on the river. Relax and watch the wildlife, fishermen, rafters and Jet Boats pass by. Beautiful outdoor space with room for outdoor sports, and furnished with picnic tables, chairs and barbecue. The home is very well equipped and maintained. The only sounds you'll hear is the river rushing by and the call of an Osprey circling overhead, occasionally swooping down to catch a fish for dinner. Indoor board games are also furnished but the great outdoors constantly calls your attention. Sit under the stars in the evening and absorb the solar sights.

Beautiful private home right on the rogue River

My husband and I are from California and came up to grants Pass area to visit our three granddaughters. Mark’s place was a perfect private beautiful home right on the rogue River. We had so much fun with the girls going down into the river bed from the access stairway right off of the huge yard leading from the house. It was very nice having stores and restaurants all conveniently located close to the home but far enough away that the home was still private. We will definitely be going back .

Wonderful family friendly location

Beautiful home recently remodeled on the inside with a large well appointed kitchen comfortable bedrooms, great indoor and outdoor gathering spaces (with barbecue). River views with beach access via stairs. In quiet neighborhood for walking or biking with easy access to town and other activities in the Grants Pass area. Owner friendly and available for questions. We enjoyed our stay, thank you.

Great house in wonderful location

We stayed here with my mother and two children. There was ample room for everybody in the three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The kitchen is fully fitted and allowed us to comfortably prepare our own meals and eat them at the nice dining table. The entire dining and living room has a spectacular view of the rogue river, which is directly next to the house. The river view and access is the signature feature here. We walked into the river and were able to play with our kids in the water directly next to the house. The neighborhood is quiet and safe. I recommend this house! The location in Grants Pass is good with stores being only a few minutes away and the downtown close by. You will find shops and restaurants downtown. The city offers many diverse activities. The activities are generally outdoors and involve either the river or the forested hills. Many activities require significant driving but are worth it. I recommend the Oregon Caves National Monument and the Safari Park in Winston. The visitors center in downtown Grants Pass will inform you well.
