We'd like to provide some context on a few points for future guests reading this review. This guest requested an early check-in with a firm confirmation. We were happy to accommodate but explained that guaranteed early check-ins require a fee, as they involve holding the property from other guests. We believe this is important context for anyone reading this review. Regarding the fourth bedroom, this property was recently renovated — the owner personally designed and renovated the apartment with love — and stayed in it immediately prior to this guest's arrival with no mildew issues present. Our cleaning team and the owner made multiple attempts to come assess the situation, but the guest wasn't responsive to multiple attempts. We take air quality and hygiene EXTREMELY seriously and would have resolved this promptly, if the problem existed, had we been able to gain access. The apartment has heaters up to 30°C in each bedroom and two in the living area (6 total), clearly outlined in our home manual, which also notes extra blankets are available upon request. Regarding hot water — the concern was that water was too hot. Most guests love the strong hot water and shower pressure. The heater is adjustable, and we encourage families with young children to supervise during bath time.

And you're right that there's street art in the neighborhood — it's a well-known feature of this part of Athens and part of what gives the area its character, which we do mention in the listing.
