Great Get Away

This is a great place to stay! It’s a remote location with a fenced in area so if you have dogs they can roam around without worrying about them wandering off.

What a lovely rental this is. The apartment was clean and inviting. While I did not travel with a pet, there was obvious thought to those who might travel with their pet. Each separate space had its own ac unit in the ceiling so individual needs were easily met. Communication with owner was as easy and she was very accommodating regarding a requested early check-in.

We had a very enjoyable time.. one of the horses had a new born colt and so peaceful to observe them. Only thing I would mention is that the beds are very high. I used our little 6-pack cooler to step up on to be able to get in the king bed. Bed was comfortable, just too high for us. Susan was so kind to help us regain entry after we lost the key! The fenced yard was nice for our little poodles.

Wonderful quiet property. All brand new and fully equipped. I got in very late and have never been to this area and found my self lost late in the evening. The host replied immediately to my inquiry and made it a smooth check in. I was there for a veterinary training class at the Chi Institute. I was10 min away and made it a perfect place to stay. Very gratefulFor the quiet peaceful clean accommodations

A beautiful, clean, and bucolic setting that met our needs perfectly. We loved the thoughtful touches and furniture placement. The setting was serene, quiet, and safe. We took our two small senior dogs and appreciated the owner allowing us to travel with them. The fenced backyard was perfect for our pets, but we kept them on leashes at all times. Take some food with you! There’s no grocery close by. We had a lovely stay here! Adored the horses, too.

The interior of the house is great. Master bedroom king bed is super comfy. Bathrooms are beautiful. Pet friendly. Our boys loved meeting the horses. Plenty of kitchen counter space. Sufficient cookware and dishes. Kitchen could use some basic spices other than salt and pepper. House was very clean. Ac worked great. Suzanne was very responsive to our questions and issues.

It was a charming 3 bedroom barn house, it was very cozy and comfortable. The place was clean and inviting, very spacious and included a washer and dryer. It was off the beaten path, very country setting and away from all the noise of the city. Great spot to relax and unwind for the weekend. I would highly recommend staying here if you are in the area.
