Tails and Tides Coastal Stay is a family-friendly, dog-friendly home with a large fenced yard, just a short drive from Atlantic Beach, Emerald Isle, and Cherry Point.

Conveniently located near the Crystal Coast, you’ll enjoy easy access to beaches, waterfront towns, and local favorites while still having a quiet place to relax.

Tails and Tides is a comfortable, family-friendly home with plenty of space to relax and spread out. With 2 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, a pull-out couch, and a quiet office with an additional sleeping spot, the home comfortably accommodates up to 7 guests.

The home includes two full bathrooms, one with a shower/tub combo and one with a large walk-in shower, making it easy for groups to get ready and enjoy their stay without feeling crowded.

One of the best features of the home is the large fenced backyard, perfect for kids to play and dogs to run safely. It’s a rare find in the area and makes the space ideal for families and pet-friendly travel.

Inside, you’ll find a fully stocked kitchen with everything you need to cook meals, fast WiFi for work or streaming, and a washer and dryer for your convenience. Whether you’re staying for a few days or a couple of weeks, the home is set up to feel comfortable and easy.

Madison is an EXCELLENT HOST, our stay was perfect. The dogs loved the back yard, I loved how comfortable the bed was, kitchen was well organized and clean just like the rest of the house. Location was perfect for our stay. close to shopping and beach. I will definitely stay again and will certainly tell all my friends as well. thank you.

The property was just off the beaten path which we enjoyed the quiet! Beds were comfortable, towels were soft, everything was very clean. There were all types of dishes and appliances you would possibly need to cook. The host left snacks and ideas for places to go. The host was very helpful making sure we got in, because we were severely delayed and it was very late. Great place to stay, not too far from Emerald Island or Cherry Point!

When I first moved to this area, I thought it would be temporary, but I quickly fell in love with Carteret County and knew this was where I wanted to build my life. This home became a really special place for me. It is where I met my husband and where we started our family.

As our family grew, we eventually needed more space and moved to a larger home. Selling this one never felt right, because it truly is a special place to us. Instead, we decided to share it with others.

My goal is to offer a comfortable, welcoming stay and make Carteret County more accessible for families who want to enjoy the area without the cost of staying directly on the island. I hope you enjoy it here as much as we did.

We love this area because it offers the perfect balance of quiet and convenience. You are just a short drive from Atlantic Beach while being able to enjoy a more relaxed, spacious setting away from the crowds.

The neighborhood is peaceful and great for families, with plenty of room to unwind and enjoy the outdoors. At the same time, you are close to Morehead City and Beaufort, where you can find great restaurants, waterfront views, and local shops.

It is the kind of place where you can spend the day at the beach and come back to a quiet, comfortable space to relax.
