Great fun place! The kids loved that it’s a real train caboose. And the hosts are so thoughtful leaving a tray of snacks and a full fire starter kit next to the fire pit. Highly recommend.

When my family travels on vacation, I like to stay in one unique place and the caboose did not disappoint! It was so cute and clean and had everything we needed. There was even a fire pit and a barbecue area.

Hospitality at its best! Very clean and relaxing. The added touch with toys and books for toddlers is the chef's kiss. My toddler spent hours playing with the wooden train set. Giving mom and dad a break from travel stress.

We absolutely love this place! Alison is a great host, excellent communication and easy access. This was our second stay this summer, we loved it so much the first time we just had to return for a long weekend. So glad we did and we’re sorry to have to leave again. Cozy and peaceful, we couldn’t have wanted more.

Staying here was a delight. It was even better than expected. While guests should be prepared for a touch of camper-style living during their stay, it was above and beyond in every way. It was a really cool experience and a story for us to tell about our 2 nights in a caboose!

This place was great! We loved it so much- the kids had the BEST time but my spouse and I also had a great time and loved the theme carried throughout even to the small details of the books and games shared.

We absolutely loved the caboose, and wish we could have stayed longer. Alison was a super responsive host and everything was exactly as described and pictured. We appreciated the super-efficient use of space in this unique accommodation which provided more than enough room for two of us. We also loved the quiet location, fresh air and easy access to Blackfoot and surrounding area. Highly recommend this for a fun getaway or unique experience while traveling through the area.

This adorable little caboose is actually quite roomy as well as quiet and clean. It’s nestled on a nice, peaceful country road that barely gets any traffic, amongst farmland. There’s a barbecue and a fire pit with the seating area outside and it makes for a nice peaceful stay. I would definitely stay here again.

The caboose was adorable. Very clean and we had no issues during our stay. There was a card table stored underneath the couch which was perfect for playing board games in the afternoon. In the evenings we sat out on the little deck off the back. The toilet in the shower was hilarious! Gets the job done when you are working with minimal space. We loved it and had a great time. The property was beautiful with plenty of parking and the view for the sunset was gorgeous. Thank you for letting us stay!

I'm glad you enjoyed the caboose. The bathroom is fully functional, but definitely a tight squeeze to fit it in the original layout of the caboose.

We absolutely LOVED this little caboose! The location was beautiful and the caboose was homey and cozy!! The history that they included about acquiring the caboose and how they moved it and transformed it into a rental was so amazing to learn about! We plan on returning with our two kids as soon as time allows.

Really cool experience, would recommend to anyone for a cool stay in a train caboose. Plenty of room for 4 to sleep, amazing complimentary snacks, teas, coffee, hot chocolate and more. They provide a grill and a firepit for cooking and hanging out. They also provide seasonings. Very quiet, relaxing and plenety restaurant options nearby. The cool attraction would be the idaho potato museum.

Don’t judge a book by its cover. The outside of the caboose is authentic and rustic, but the grounds are beautiful and the remodel was well done. I highly recommend this for any train lovers out there. This is nestled at the end of a quiet country road and I slept so well! I felt completely safe and would definitely stay here again.

Everything was amazing. The bed was a little uncomfortable for our liking and the shower could have been hotter but really overall was an amazing train car caboose experience. They did an amazing job fixing up the caboose. I just hope people take care of the caboose while they use it. Also I would recommend a sign in book. It would be cool to see who uses the caboose.

This was one of my favorite vacation rentals by far. The owners spent a lot of attention on detail and cleanliness. We loved being outside of town and in a very unique setting. The space is small but the amenities were well thought out and covered for what was needed. Everything was neat, clean and comfortable. It was also nice to spend time outside by the fire pit to watch the stars. This was definitely a great find and would definitely recommend if you are in the Blackfoot area.

This was such a cute fun little place to stay! It was very cozy, well equipped, and full of thoughtful little touches. We loved the welcome booklet showing the restoration process and all the fun suggestions of nearby attractions.
