Wow! This property is beautiful, comfortable, and convenient. Our group was able to spread out in the many bedrooms and come together in the kitchen and porches to talk and eat. We loved the location - close to Bardstown and attractions yet private.

Our stay at the estate was absolutely fabulous. It was centrally located and close to many of the area's distilleries, making it the perfect home base for exploring. The property offered a wide range of amenities, and every detail made our stay comfortable and enjoyable.What truly set this place apart was its rich history and unique character. The peaceful, enchanting atmosphere made it a wonderful retreat after a day of sightseeing. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this estate to anyone looking for a memorable and relaxing getaway.

If you are looking for a place that speaks to “My Old Kentucky Home” vibes, this is it. Historical plantation that has been lovingly restored by the family that has owned it for generations. Great location for bourbon tours in the Bardstown area. We used Unfiltered KY for the bourbon tour and they picked us up at the home. We had a really nice stay!

The home is everything it was described to be and more. It is close to local bourbon distilleries and shops. Our group had a great week. Highly recommend and would stay here again

Everything was perfect! They had thought of everything we could possibly need, and then more. So many small details and thoughtful touches that added an extra special something to our stay. We stayed here before and after our wedding and the beautiful landscape and decorated home made for excellent photos to forever be cherished. Excellent stay for a larger group of people.

Our 4 couple group loved this property! Only 1/2 hour drive from Makers Mark Distillery. Clean, spacious 1800s farmhouse. Peaceful & quiet. Kitchen was well stocked & nice for gathering. Sunrise view with morning coffee. Easy drive to Bardstown.

Host was welcoming and responses were quickly. So many amenities you don't see at other places! Decorated for the holidays was a nice touch. Pickle ball court in the garage was fun, as well as corn hole boards and bags. This place will be terrific once they get a 2nd shower in.

Was great for us. We love being so close to the bourbon festival and such a beautiful property. Very historic house with the first part built in the 1700s. We enjoyed the back porch talking with friends and large kitchen to cook while we all sat at the large table hanging out. The farm was beautiful…just what we needed!

If you want a real Kentucky experience, this is the location! This beautiful historic farmhouse in a lovely farm setting makes you feel part of the area’s culture. The house is so convenient to everything Bardstown has to offer; history, bourbon, dining and shopping. Hosts are very easy to communicate with and provide you all the info you need about the property. The house layout is unique with shared bathroom spaces but its historic charm, beautiful antiques and numerous amenities make it an enjoyable stay for a group looking to embrace the uniqueness of Kentucky.

The house and property are beautiful! Such a quiet and relaxing home with a ton of charm. We were a group of 5, everyone had their own room. Only downside was the house only has 1 shower, the other full bath is a tub only. Otherwise everything was great, host was very easy to work with.

This beautiful plantation house not only has a sweet rich history but is just absolutely perfect for a getaway to enjoy and relax as you take in the views over the rolling 300 plus acres of countryside. The attention to detail for welcoming guests was incredible from homemade jams,(we cleaned out 2 jars!) cookies, coffee bar with assorted coffees with condiments to fully stocked baths equipped with any possible toiletry item you may have forgotten. It was like a Gone with the Wind feel but with updated amenities like a gourmet cooks kitchen, full size Weber grill, spacious bathroom with a huge shower or if you prefer to soak in a claw-foot tub, speaking from experience, the panoramic views from the upstairs bath were stunning! Patricia, thank you for the fabulous stay at your home! You can see and feel the love and care that goes into that old family homestead!

This is a historical older home. The furnishings are beautiful. We loved it! It is quirky like older homes are. For example, the half bath is under the stairs. However, the full bathroom downstairs is very large and has grab bars for people with mobility issues. With older homes, some doors rub when closing, the floor creaks and there will be a step from one room to another room that was an addition. The ac is cooler in some rooms since the ac is supplied by split units instead of central air. If you want a modern sleek condo, this is not for you. We found this country home very charming, peaceful and perfect for our family weekend. Thank you
