House Tour:
Whether you are enjoying a Penn State football game weekend or campus event, exploring the historic and charming town of Bellefonte, or looking for a base camp from which to explore the incredible blue ribbon trout fishing and outdoor adventures found in Centre County, this house is sure to provide a restful and relaxing stay. The driveway has a single lane down to the front door, with additional space for up to 2 more vehicles at the top of the driveway. The front door is equipped with a smart lock and the only security camera. Enter into the living room with plenty of couch seating, games, books, and a 60" Roku tv to watch the game or stream your favorite apps. High-speed T-Mobile wifi is available throughout the property. Continue into the dining room with table and seating for 6, along with a work station. Next is the kitchen, which is fully stocked for meal preparation with cookware, dishes, utensils, a large refrigerator/freezer, a fully stocked coffee/tea/hot chocolate bar with Keurig or drip coffee options, a full spice rack, and olive oil. Exiting the back door from the kitchen, step onto the covered back porch to enjoy your morning coffee and take in the views looking out over the beautiful Buffalo Run Valley. A Blackstone grill is available for guest use. Step down onto the deck with a table and 6 chairs for outdoor dining. Adjacent to the deck down 2 sets of stairs is firepit area perfect for roasting hot dogs or s'mores on cool fall evenings. Upstairs are 3 bedrooms and a full hall bath. Please note that 19th century home character is found upstairs with narrower hallways and stairs, and a unique bedroom layout which may cause an issue for guests with limited mobility. Bedroom 1 is found at the top of the steps leading up from the living room, a small bedroom with a queen size bed. Down the hall is bedroom 2, a large family or kids bedroom with a twin-over-queen bunk bed, and separate twin bed tucked in the corner nook. Continuing down the hallway is the bathroom, which is freshly updated and stocked with towels, wash cloths, hand towels, makeup towels, a hair dryer, and spare toothbrushes/floss/cotton balls for guest use. Past the bathroom is bedroom 3, a large bedroom with a queen bed and windows looking out over the valley from a birds eye view. Extra blankets can be found in the hall closet. The house is equipped with baseboard hot water heat which keeps the home warm and comfortable during the winter months, and each bedroom has an individual heating unit to dial in individual comfort levels. Each bedroom is also equipped with a window unit air conditioner for the warm months, and the downstairs has a floor unit air conditioner that keeps the first floor comfortable. Enjoy your next trip to Centre County at this beautiful property!
Guests have use of entire house except for the basement, owner's closet, and detached garage. You will have the entire property to yourselves, the hosts are available 24/7 throughout your stay by text or Airbnb messaging. This property is located on a sloping lot, and guests with mobility issues may struggle with accessing the yard and firepit areas. Additionally, as mentioned the stairs and upstairs hallways are narrow and may also be challenging for guests with mobility issues. The driveway may not be plowed immediately and guests should have 4 wheel drive to access the driveway if traveling over the winter months. Check in time is 4:00 PM. If you want an early check-in or late check-out, you may incur a fee up to the cost of the next night's stay; this will be clearly communicated to you prior to setting up the check in/out change. This payment will be payable through AirBnB's system. No off-AirBnB payments will be accepted for your reservation placed on AirBnB. Quiet hours must be observed between 10 PM and 7 AM to be respectful of the neighbors.
