Was the perfect spot away from downtown area, but not too far. The house had everything we needed - beds were very comfortable and loved all the special touches added.

This property is A. We were in New Bern for a family wedding and our accommodations were perfect!! The location was just a few blocks from the festivities. The home featured exceptional cleanliness and an exceptional host. Onjaleka responded immediately to answer our questions. I highly recommend this comfortable and well decorated home away from home!!

This is a beautifully restored home, well decorated and stocked with wine and an awesome coffee bar, I honestly could not ask for more and our host’s communication was fantastic.

This was a great location that was within riding distance by bike to Union Point Park where the MS Tour to New Bern is held to raise funds to find a cure for Multiple Sclerosis. Everything that you needed for a coffee bar was provided by the host and our family enjoyed the house and our weekend. Can’t wait for next year!

Came into town for my son’s wedding with ten people. Fit all of us comfortably. Very nice atmosphere. Host was incredibly accommodating and provided an outstanding beverage bar including coffees and adult beverages and wine. Very clean and safe. Home away from home. Quick response when asking questions. Highly recommend.

Amazing property to stay in during our time in New Bern! Very convenient location that was a very short drive to the Riverfront and downtown areas to enjoy water views and great dining options. The home was spotless and well-decorated (loved the fall decorations!). There was plenty of space for five of us to spread out comfrtably and we loved the bathroom options. The well-stocked coffee and tea bar had everything we needed, and the backyard was adorable although we didn’t have a chance to enjoy it. The small waterfront area not far from the property was a peaceful way to start the day and enjoy the sunrise. Thank you for everything!

Wonderful weekend stay in New Bern! The house was very clean, smelled great, and had everything we needed and more! The coffee and wine bar was a pleasant surprise. The location was perfect for morning/evening walking. And to top it off, our host was very responsive and had great recommendations for things to do. Will be booking again for our annual trip!

This house felt like a home away from home. The owners decorated so tastefully and the accommodations were thoughtful and appreciated. Everything was super clean and comfortable. The fence was completely secure so our 5lb dog was always safe. And we completely enjoyed the fire pit!

Overall, had a wonderful stay with my family. The house gives a warm and cozy atmosphere. There were plenty of towels and beds for everybody. The ice machine didn’t work but that was communicated by the host. The drinks included was a wonderful addition.

Such a wonderful experience for our short stay. Our host was very attentive and helpful with any concerns or needs.10 out of 10. Excellent coffee bar included several options.Very well stocked with all needed bathroom supplies. Also, included shampoo/conditioner and body wash. Beautifully decorated home with plenty of sleeping space. Will stay again!!

What a comfortable and warm place! Our host was most responsive to questions and issues before and after the stay. The house was in perfect condition. It was so nice to get into a house that literally felt like our family home after a long day of transcontinental travel. So much nicer than the nicest hotel room for sure. Everything was there that we might have needed and many nice surprises from the host when we arrived also.The location is perfect - close to the historic downtown New Bern .The house is located a house away from the freight train line and while some might find the active train a nuisance, we loved the horn and the sound and feel of the train going by! Our host was responsive to issues and questions we had and issues were fixed quickly. I wish continued success to our host and for sure will stay again if we get back to New Bern.

The house itself was laid out very well, and my group appreciated that it had adult beds in every room. The kitchen was a nice size and decently equipped, although there was some kind of decoration on every counter, which did take up a lot of counter space. There were a lot of throw pillows on all the beds and couches, which made it a little awkward when trying to relax, as the only place to put them was the floor. We had a great time, but the house is VERY close to train tracks and a switchyard. We stayed 5 nights, and were woken up by trains at around 4:30 am on 2 of those nights. It didn't ruin our trip as we were mostly able to go back to sleep, but it definitely made for a couple of rough mornings. Lastly, there were lots of rugs that were not stuck down very well. We slipped on them so much the first night that we ended up taking a lot of them off the floor while we were staying there. Overall, there were some negatives, but the house felt very welcoming and inviting. It was also very close to downtown New Bern and the convention center, which was perfect for us.

The house was very clean and spacious, and we had a great time staying there. We especially loved that the host provided coffee and snacks — such a thoughtful touch. We’re so glad we chose to stay here.
