Awesome place and an awesome host! We’ve stayed here multiple times when visiting the New River Gorge and always have a great experience. It’s become our go-to place to stay whenever we’re in the area.

Poppy’s Place was absolutely perfect! This property was exactly what we needed for a weekend away from the bustle. The host was so easy to work with. The property was so cute and very clean. Very quiet and cozy.

All I can say is wow! Absolutely amazing!!!! Everything we needed was there! The privacy makes it perfect to stay there the whole time or venture out!!!! Perfectly located!!! Anything and everything was so close!!!!!! We enjoyed the board games and Stormy the outside kitty was perfect as we arean animal family and missed our back home! We were celebrating birthdays and the owners thoughtfully left a card balloon and stuff to makes smores!!!!! Poppys Place was the perfect home away from home! The owner was so amazing and on top of it!!!!!!

Super comfortable and extremely clean country house with all the amenities required for an enjoyable stay. The living room furniture was very cozy and enjoyed by all. There were board games and several other pleasant surprises! Definitely recommend!

This is a charming house with tons of amenities. We loved our stay. It was a great home base for our WV adventures, located near many outdoor activities but in a calm, peaceful spot. We loved the firepit, the grills, and the board games (Clue forever!). William was wonderful to work with, very responsive. All the stars!

Nothing to identify if we were at the right place. Impressed with the cleanliness and the serene setting. we heard turkeys but that was all.Great location to see local sights!Stormy the cat was a pleasant surprise. You might give more details about the location of feeding dishes.We suggest more hooks in second bedroom. Also, the last outside step was difficult to manage. Need some cutesy curb appeal. Maybe shutters or window boxes.Wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

The place was lovely and well laid out. Very quiet and roomy. A great location for exploring the New River Gorge National Park. The host, William, responded quickly to all correspondence and quickly answered any question we had. At the time we stayed there was no air conditioning so it got hot during the afternoon, but the host has informed that he has corrected that, so we would stay again.

This house was great! Location outside of town with beautiful views, 3 adorable cows for neighbors and a resident cat. The inside was clean, beautifully decorated and the owner truly thought of everything. The four of us had a great home base for all of our adventures. The area has so much to offer, way more than we could fit in our visit.

Excellent property for families. Our family of 5 had plenty of room. The house was clean and had all the basics needed for cooking. There was a fire pit in the back yard ready to go. We enjoyed our stay. Our host was very attentive and responded quickly.
