Great property, awesome location! The house had everything we needed and the hosts were Amazing! They even dropped off a corkscrew and wine glasses for us. Would absolutely stay again!

Perfect Family Reunion on Hayden LakeOur family of nine stayed at the Hayden Lake Chalet for five nights for a family reunion, and it was an excellent experience. The property was exactly as described, very clean, well maintained, and accurately represented in the listing. There was plenty of space for everyone, and the private dock, lake access, and beautiful views made it the perfect setting for spending time together and creating great family memories.There is currently a new home being built next door, but the construction had absolutely no impact on our stay. Wendy was very upfront about it before our arrival and offered to address any concerns if they came up, but there were none.Wendy was a wonderful host, and we would gladly recommend the chalet to other families or groups looking for a relaxing stay on Hayden Lake. Five stars!

The manager of this property is the owner/couple who lives locally, and they were engaged, friendly, and extremely responsive. The property was brand new during our stay; we must have been one of the first guests. The property is very large and we had plenty of space for our family of 6 plus visiting local nieces, nephews and other family. It was stocked with kitchenwares and linens beyond what we typically see in vacation rental properties. The construction quality was great. Too many VRBO's are "vacation rental quality" but this one was new construction and it was clear the owners care about the quality. The balcony was large and shaded most of the day (we saw a moose come within 20 ft of the balcony on the adjacent slope). Having the basement was a great place for our children and their cousins to retreat into. This is the 4th Hayden Lake waterfront rental we've done as a family, and it was by far the most convenient to get back into Hayden or CDA. Walmart grocery delivered to us here during the trip. One point of note: this is a part of the lake where the road passes between the cabin and the dock, so it's worth knowing that going in, especially if you have young children. There's also a bit of road noise that's a factor when you're sitting on the balcony. (We didn't notice the road much when swimming or sitting at the dock.)
