My beautiful home in Firenze! I loved this house. Quiet, roomy, with beautiful, comfortable furniture. I loved just hanging out in it.Great location in Oltrarno . i’ve always stayed closer to the Duomo but this neighborhood was really sweet and way less crowded. Lots of great restaurants, shops, and churches. And just a couple minutes walk to a bridge over the Arno. It’s got a bunch of steps inside and out, but good handrails and a helpful doorman. I’d love to stay there again.

Fabulous location within walking distance to everything. The nineteen stairs were a bit scary, made of large stone that are not even. We were a group of four over 65 with my husband having a bad knee. Heavy suite cases were hard to carry down. Furniture could be updated for a better place to sit and relax after sightseeing all day. Overall it is a nice property.

Lovely cottage in a wonderful location

Incredible location

Wonderful stay, so close to the action but so quiet and secluded. Very responsive and incredibly helpful with our needs while visiting. Would definitely go back again!!

We enjoyed the location very much! Walking distance from our interests and yet off the main streets, and with the courtyard, made it feel secluded and special.

This is the second time in a year that I have stayed in Thais cottage with my young adult sons. It could not have been any more perfect for us. Massimiliano is the most welcoming, kind, and helpful doorman. He how above and beyond. The flat is beautiful and comfortable. It is in the best location. I look forward to staying there again. I highly, highly recommend staying here.

Excellent location and stay

Really enjoyed this home. It’s in a perfect location. We were all attacked by mosquitos on the first night but it was addressed quickly by the owner. Otherwise, it was a great stay and we would happily return.

Charming apartment

We loved this charming place in one of the charming neighborhoods in Florence. Its proximity to restaurants and all the attractions is fantastic. Very safe too. Loved it.

The flat is just beautiful. Of course it looks nice in the photographs, but it is even more beautiful in real life. It is very spacious and comfortable. There were four of us staying, my husband and I, and our two young adult daughters, 18 and 20. We were all delighted with the flat, and would happily stay there again. It was lovely to come home in the evening to such a beautiful space. It was warm and the beds were comfortable, everything was perfectly clean. I can happily recommend staying here, we loved it.

Family vacation

The BEST location!!! Very cool neighborhood filled with great restaurants and a real ‘locals’ feel. Would stay again in a heartbeat. (Only small request is to include a small amount of dishwasher liquid and laundry detergent.)

Great location

Getting to the apartment from the main train station and check in were stress free thanks to Patricia and Massimiliano. The apartment was very nice. There is a slight opportunity for improvement in the area of housekeeping but that could cultural. We would stay here again.

Florence Hideaway

The property is lovely and very well supplied. The setting in an inner courtyard is lovely and quiet, and we enjoyed the ability to park our rental car onsite. The location in the Oltrarno is wonderful - with great shops and restaurants in almost every block, and yet only a 15 minute walk to the Uffizzi Gallery across the Arno. We very much enjoyed our stay!

Walk about Florence

The apartment is in a great location and close to many restaurants and shops. It has a great feel of Italy and it is so nice to relax there after a long day of sightseeing. The set up is very unique and offers privacy to the guests. We will definitely rent again if we go back to Florence.

Lovely apartment in an ideal location. A island of peace in the bustle of Florence. Responded quickly to our needs. We were taking a course 3 minutes walk away. Our only minor issue was that we all have devices to charge at our bedsides—power bars would make it easier to have a reading light and a charged iPad at the same time

Would stay again.

Nice setting. Great location. We were across the river from the busiest sections but close enough to walk to the places we wanted to visit. Apartment was big enough for 4 adults to be comfortable. Nice (antique) furnishings. Doorman was very helpful.

Great Location

As stated in prior reviews, this is a very nice, roomy and well maintained historic property in a great location. It was a very easy walk to all we wanted to do during our 1 week, late May stay. The property manager was onsite during business hours and quickly responsive to any requests for assistance. We recommend this flat to others.

fabulous location, beautiful space!

We loved staying here.. close to everything we wanted to do.. it was a little dark.. so more light would help... I was caught off guard by the bedroom with the single bed had a private bath.. and the two bedrooms with double beds shared a bathroom.. but othewise this place was fantastic. We definitely recommend it and stay there again.
