This was the perfect property for our family get away. It had just the right amount of activities for the grandkids and adults alike. The pool is beautiful and fun for all. Cabin was even better than we expected. Faith was so helpful with all communication. If you are looking for a convenient place close to downtown Blue Ridge, but away from the stress of traffic, this is the place. We will definately try to stay here on our next trip.

We really enjoyed our time at Barrel Ridge. The cabin was spotless and every bed was comfortable. We spent most of our time in the gorgeous saltwater pool. We paid to heat it since the pool is in the shade the majority of the day. Outdoor fireplace with the TV was great at night.

Beautiful property, well kept, lots of recreational items on site...great for kids. Would return again. Host was very helpful and available. Videos showing equipment operations was very helpful.

Communication with host(s) was superb . After a very comfortable first nights sleep, waking up at dawn to sit on the upper rear deck with my coffee was nothing short of heaven for me and we live in the country and have a farm. True decompression . Location was fabulous , minutes from town and anything you may need or forgotten. The only things we had to do were swim, steam, hot tub. We took advantage of outdoor grill and table and the upstairs wood burning fireplace and tv to unwind in the evening. I can’t say enough about this place or the hosts. Definitely recommend Barrel Ridge .

My husband and I came to stay for 8 days and we invited our 3 adult children to come visit whenever they could. They took us up on the offer and we had a fabulous time! The house was perfect because all the bedrooms have king-size beds and are ensuite with a private bath as well as all have sliding doors to the outside. There was a large table for meals and card playing. Pool table was great fun to compete with each other on our pool skills. We used the fabulous fire pit every night and the hot tub every day as well. Sometimes even twice. I didn't pay for the pool heating but my son swam a few days and it was tolerable. The guys loved the sauna. Kitchen was well stocked so we could cook most any meal. My son brought his two dogs and the fenced yard was a big help with that. There was not a view of the valleys or distant mountains, but we all agreed having large trees behind the house made for great privacy. We went to wineries in the area, shops in Blue Ridge and Elijay. Ingles grocery store in BR is phenomenal and was close by. All in all, we had a great family vacation and would love to come back. We all love the Blue Ridge area.

The house was a great and have everything we needed to cook in. The pool and hot tub were very nice. The yard was fully fenced which was great for the dogs. Host was easy to get ahold of and quickly handled any concerns. A few things to note- one of the upstairs bedrooms is open ceiling to the main area. It somehow creates an amplified sound as if you are in the same room. Dogs are not allowed on furniture, which is not a problem, but I think should be called out very clearly in description. The road in is very steep! Again, not an issue but was not aware prior and would be concerning if your first time is in the dark. The parking for 2 cars is not a problem but anymore or large vehicles like we had you need to park tandem (again not a problem but was not aware until we arrived). Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here!

We enjoyed celebrating our 33rd anniversary at this location. It provided all that we needed. The atmosphere is rustic and comfortable. We especially loved sitting by the pool enjoying the quiet nature. We highly recommend this location and would definitely come back.
