Fran's Place on the Water

Questo spazioso duplex si trova in un paradiso tropicale. La struttura si trova sulla 11th Street, esposta ad est, sulla città-isola di Key Colony Beach a MM 54 nel Medio Keys (vicino Marathon).

Si tratta di un'unità di fronte al canale, con un bacino di 37 piedi, di pesce di pulizia tavolo con la luce, e un facile accesso sia l'Oceano Atlantico e il Golfo del Messico. La casa dispone di un nuovo, ampio portico schermato di 29 piedi che fronteggia il canale (luogo ideale per cenare), due camere da letto, due bagni, grande sala, posto auto coperto e lavanderia.

La camera da letto principale ha un letto matrimoniale e la camera degli ospiti ha due letti matrimoniali. Ogni camera ha il proprio bagno completo. L'unità è stata ristrutturata con una nuova cucina, bagni nuovi, arredamento / letti confortevoli, aria centrale e calore e pavimenti piastrellati.

L'adesione ad una spiaggia privata sull'Atlantico con acqua fresca doccia e area pic-nic è incluso. La spiaggia si trova a cinque minuti a piedi dal gruppo, come è Sunset Park. Sono forniti Sedie a sdraio e teli da mare.

BICICLETTE, WiFi e tre televisori a schermo piatto sono inclusi.

Key Colony Beach è una città insulare che offre un ambiente tropicale tranquillo con eccellenti ristoranti, noleggio barche, barche a noleggio, golf tre campi da tennis, campi da tennis, campi da pickle ball, bocce, ferri di cavallo, shuffleboard, campo da basket e parco per bambini a pochi passi . In combinazione con la nostra unità ristrutturata, questo è un luogo di vacanza vincente.

Fran was absolutely great. Property is very nice and comfortable, has just about everything you need. Boat and trailer fit perfect and family if 4 with 2 adult sons were comfortable.

Fran is wonderful , and a joy to work with . Her home is comfy, clean and has everything you need including bikes !!The screened in porch is a plus and nice in the morning and evenings . This was our second time staying here and we will be back again. Having a boat it’s quick to get to the bay or Atlantic from her place .

Fran’s Place was all (and more) we anticipated. Centrally located to all the keys, we were able to see and do much. The place was fully stocked for any family’s needs, and if you don’t feel at home after within the first 24 hrs, you may need a family tune-up!Great community! Great location! Great place!

Great Stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Fran's Place. It was cute and very clean with a wonderful screened porch to enjoy watching the activity on the canal. The beds were some of the most comfortable we have had in a vacation rental! Great communication with the host also! We would definitely stay here again!!

Wonderful!

Thanks for a wonderful and relaxing stay. The amenities are above and beyond. The location was perfect and the fishing was great. Highly recommended and we will definitely be coming back.

We loved staying at Fran's place. It was really nicely decorated, well appointed, and had comfortable beds with beautiful views. We brought our boat and were able to keep our trailer on the gravel driveway which was a bonus. The home is a duplex but you would never know it wasn't a single family home. Clean, quiet area at Key Colony Beach. We would absolutely stay here again.

Fran’s place was everything I hoped it would be. The location was convenient to everything we wanted to do. We enjoyed spending our mornings and evenings on the screened in back porch. Everything was neat and tidy and clean. I would highly recommend.

Beautiful Cottage on the Canal

Stayed for a week and had a wonderful time! The house is a "10", photos do not do it justice. It is fully stocked and is in brand new condition. We enjoyed the restaurants and beaches all within the neighborhood. Looking forward to our next visit!

This house has everything I needed.It was clean, well equipped, well maintained and the communication with the owner couldn’t have been better.If you don’t need a pool and Cabana Club (which I don‘t really need on my fishing trips in the Keys), it couldn’t be better.The Dock was easy to use and if you clean fish there’s a lot going on in the water…Tarpon, Nursesharks, Snapper, Pelicans. I will come back.

Amazing

Fran’s place was amazing. She communicated very well. Her home was very clean. We had everything we needed. We saw manatee, shark, parrot fish, grunts and more fish right off the dock. We thoroughly enjoyed evenings and mornings fishing off the dock. The area is very quiet! Watched a fantastic sunset at Sunset Beach. Swam with a stingray at Inch Beach. Snorkeled at Looe Key. Took a day trip to Key West. We truly had a blessed wonderful week!

Will definitely be back!

I saw Fran's place and immediately loved it! I was curious how a place could have only perfect reviews until I got there. I don't think I have ever stayed at a rental that was so well represented by the pictures. The condo is clean and very well equipped. The bed was super comfy (we only used the master), and having two bathrooms was such a plus for showering after long days in the sun. We had planned a lot of activities while we were there, but found ourselves just wanting to go back to the condo to lay on the loungers and read with a beer in hand. The view from the backyard is perfect. It is only sun until about 2pm (end of May) but it was nice having the shade in the afternoon and evening vs across the canal where it was sunny so much of the day.I was concerned about neighbours and noise level, but everyone was very quiet and respectful. We had neighbours when we were there and even when we were both outside it was pretty private.The bikes were such a nice touch for biking down to sunset point every night. And it was great to have beach amenities... Towels, cooler, umbrella, and really nice beach chairs. The brand new Weber BBQ was also a big plus for us as we used it almost every night. We had an amazing time and will definitely be back!

Our new favorite place!

Fran's Place certainly did not disappoint. We frequent the Florida Keys annually and this is by far the best place we have stayed. In fact, I hesitate to write such a glowing review for fear our new secret will get out. Fran's Place is very clean, the kitchen is very well appointed, the outside yard and dock were immaculate, and Fran was always available should we need her. The fish cleaning station is really nice as well. The outdoor grill was clean and well-shaded next to the front porch and within easy access to the front door and kitchen. The rooms are large and the King size mattress in the master bedroom is high quality. Cheap bedding seems to abound in vacation rentals we have stayed at in the past. There is easy access to both the Atlantic and the Gulf waters and the fishing was great. We have a flats boat, but because the waters on the Atlantic side were so calm the first few days we were able to do quite a bit of (slightly) offshore fishing. The outdoor bait freezer is a big plus. As native Floridians we know just how hot it can get during the summer. We did notice how well insulated the roof over the back porch was and with the ceiling fan on we could actually enjoy sitting on the porch in July. There are tons of amazing restaurants nearby as well. So now you know our newest secret, but is is okay because Fran and her family deserve the praise.

Amazing little slice of Paradise!

This is the perfect place to relax and unwind. The house had everything you’d need - beach towels, bikes, locks, cooler, tackle and gear, net, cookware, and so on. The beds were so comfortable and the place was super clean. Fran thought of everything and you can tell it’s a beloved home with all the comforts and updates needed to rival any 5-star hotel. We’d stay again in a heartbeat!

Key Colony Gem

We’ve visited Key Colony several times now and this was our favorite place we have stayed! Manatees, parrot fish, mangroves snapper, nurse sharks and even a tarpon entertained us in the canal and we also rented kayaks for a few days. The neighborhood is quiet so don’t expect a Key West vibe, it’s time to unwind here. Inch Beach was a lovely bonus and Havana Jack’s is always a fun place to have drinks. We had a great time and would definitely stay here again - thanks Fran!

Lovely.

Fran and her house were both amazing. I took a class in Marathon, and it was so nice to chill on the quiet canal in the evenings. AC works well as do all of the appliances, and the mattresses are comfortable. Eat at Keys Fisheries for their fresh fish and Lobster Mac ‘n Cheese. We were not ready to leave. Hoping to return next year. Thanks, Fran!

Absolutely breathtaking

Fran’s place was exactly as described and then some. Upon arrival, you feel a level of tranquility like no other. The home was very well appointed with all conveniences and then some. Make sure to read the storybook about the home and history behind it. Thank you for a wonderful stay!!

Fran’s Place doesn’t disappoint

We love visiting Fran’s Place. Safe neighborhood, very clean, the kitchen is well stocked with appliances etc, and very comfortable furnishings. Can’t think of anything we needed. And they are quickly responsive to any questions etc. We have already made plans for our next trip there. Highly recommend!!!

Incredible Hidden Gem

What an amazing place! We arrived to a sparkling clean beautifully decorated oasis on the Keys! We were so pleasantly surprised at all the amenities and conveniences Fran had available at her place. We enjoyed the screened in porch for evening card games and the WiFi for locating the perfect places to visit or eat. It is so perfectly located on Marathon, a trip to a shop or the store is quick and easy. Savanna’s Sweets is just moments away for delicious key lime, local made ice cream or cookies. It is the perfect area to ride bikes, which was so nice. And the beaches, both Sunset Beach to watch beautiful sunsets, or Inch Beach with the most perfect little beach with spots for shade or lovers...ahhhhh so good. Sitting out back by the canal each morning to read and watch the sunrise was an added bonus. Fran provided amazing suggestions and was quick to respond to any question we had. We could not have dreamed of a better week.

Amazing... If you reading this just book it trust me you'll thank me later great location, on the water, quite place, wonderful owners, house has everything to make your stay prefect. So dont worry if you forget something they'll have it. 5 stars plus 5 stars it don't get any better unless you buy a spot for yourself..

Awesome place

We stayed at Fran's place and had an amazing week. The home was spotless and well stocked with all our needs. The kitchen was packed with any item you may need (from spices to cookware). Fran had bikes, tennis rackets, laundry detergent and an abundance of linens available for us. Great location with easy boat access for fishing and snorkeling. We had a fabulous time at this home!
