Great Condo! Great Vacation! Highly Recommend!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Very impressed with the ease of booking, checking in, and checking out. I did call once prior to our stay with a question and the staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. We were there with extended family booked in another condo down from us (same footprint), and the condo was great for hosting family breakfasts, dinners, and game nights. We have visited Cascade Village several times over the years and VRC made our stay enjoyable. Will definitely book with VRC again here and anywhere else they manage. Highly recommend.

Beautiful vacation home

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Beautiful location waking up to spectacular mountain views. Both balconies had gorgeous views. The loft was such an added bonus. I would definitely stay again. You are in the middle of Durango and Silverton. We didn't the train excursion which is a must do! Food in these towns are amazing. Cream bean berry ice cream in Durango a must. This was our first trip to Durango but not our last we will be back We will love to stay in this home again.

Overall, we enjoyed the condo! Pros * Big towels (lots of them)* Nice linens * Stocked kitchen * Comfortable beds* Nice washer and dryer * Close to purgatory! * Indoor pool/hot tub at facility* Covered parking * Wood provided for fireplaceCons* Sofa and love seat are broken down * Not enough hot water. Maintenance said, “the hot water tanks are really small in that unit”. We had to space baths/showers out 30 minutes-1 hour a part, which is very difficult with a big group (we had 7). Multiple times ran out of hot water. * House was cold when we arrived. 64-65 degrees. Maintenance informed us the heat is very slow heating up the condo to comfortable temps. Next morning it was still 69. If they knew the heaters were slow to warm the unit, they should have prepared for guests better and turned the heat on ahead of time. HVAC tech came and fixed 2 heaters after we informed them again the unit is still not heating properly. They also provided 2 space heaters and a log lighter to start a fire the next day, which helped. This is an honest review. We loved the house! Few hiccups in the beginning but we would stay there again!
