Copperleaf – Eagles Nest's Premier Luxury Lodge
Where luxury meets the mountaintop—Welcome to Copperleaf At Eagles Nest. Perched high in the exclusive Eagles Nest community, this architectural masterpiece blends world-class design, rare antiques, and breathtaking mountain views into one unforgettable retreat. Walk to the Sportsman's Pavilion, helipad, and scenic trails, then return to 5,000 square feet of exquisite living space, three master suites, two fire pits, and a brand-new private home theater. Designed for gatherings of up to 26 guests, Copperleaf At Eagles Nest is not just a vacation home—it's a destination in itself.
Designed by acclaimed architect Charles Wayne Ferrell, M.A.A., RA., NCARB and interior designer Karina Ferrell—both featured on HGTV, Deco Drive TV, and in international publications—Copperleaf At Eagles Nest showcases artistry in every detail. Furnishings and accents include Ralph Lauren, Restoration Hardware, Baker, Henredon, Ethan Allen, Hemingway, Tommy Bahama, Robb & Stuckey, Le Jardin, and Lalique crystal. Antique oriental rugs, heirloom clocks, and hand-crafted pieces are paired with rich finishes—granite, marble, onyx, teak, antique barn wood, heart pine, black walnut, cherry bark, alder, and rhododendron branch railings.
The Grand Hall Great Room soars with 25-foot trussed ceilings, a towering stone fireplace with petrified log lintel, and floor-to-ceiling glass framing panoramic views of Beech Mountain and the surrounding North Carolina and Tennessee ranges. A 12-foot Restoration Hardware leather sofa invites relaxation, while the large flat-screen TV is perfect for movie nights or game day.
A chef's kitchen awaits with custom knotty cherry cabinetry by Banner Cabinets, granite countertops, a 48” Dacor dual-fuel range with griddle, oversized stainless farm sink, premium appliances, and seating for up to 16 between the live-edge teak dining table and breakfast bar.
Sleeping arrangements offer unmatched comfort and flexibility:
Main Level – “Black-Lacquer Master Suite” with Robb & Stucky king bed, private "Green Leaf" spa bath with jetted tub and waterfall rain shower; adjoining library with Tommy Bahama daybed/trundle. “Cherry Room” with queen bed and adjacent "Onyx Bath". “Wenge Room” with queen bed near the “Rainforest Bath.”
Upper Level – Two loft master suites connected by a suspended branch-railed walkway, each with a king bed, sitting area, private ensuite baths and mountain views.
Lower Level – “Bunkroom” with two queen-over-queen bunks and fireplace, plus queen sleeper sofa in the family room.
Outdoor Living is just as impressive—2,000 square feet of decks and balconies with teak lounge and dining furniture, balcony gas fire pit, and dramatic torch-style heaters. A private hot tub offers the perfect end to an adventurous day. Enjoy a sprawling front and side yard graced with a natural stone fire pit for gathering together under the stars.
Entertainment & Amenities include a pro pool table, ping pong room, foosball, seven smart TVs, and a state-of-the-art home theater with 82” 4K screen and seating for 7–10 guests.
