Located on a quiet street, yet a short walk to the Beltline, Krog Street Market and numerous restaurants cafes, shops and attractions, this private gem offers the perfect blend of comfort, style, and convenience. Fully equipped for both short and long stays, it's your perfect home-away-from-home in Atlanta!


The Space
Blending the best of the past and the present, this thoughtfully designed, fully renovated 3-bedroom/1-bath is the original family home of Antoine Graves, a civil rights hero and the first black real estate broker in Atlanta. The space features a large living room, kitchen, laundry and deck. It's perfect for families, a group of friends, or couples who enjoy a bit of space.

This home is part of a duplex. The other unit is also available to book — you can find it by clicking on my host profile. Booking both units allows groups to stay close together while enjoying separate spaces.

Wonderful location and terrific communication with the host. The host was very accommodating and willing to assist us in anyway possible. This is a duplex and our unit was upstairs. There are multiple stairs and it may not be suitable for those with knee problems or elderly pets. The kitchen had everything we needed. The wifi did skip some, but the host assisted in getting that issue resolved. Check out Lotta Frutta if you stay here (Cuban sandwiches, smoothies, fruit cups, & coffee)...it is a very short walk from the duplex and really delicious. Overall, a great stay.

*The host was very friendly. I was a 1st time VRBO user and he was patient and helpful.*The location was great - very close to downtown but still far enough away from all the commotion. There is a convenience store right around the corner. *The unit met all our needs. My bed was comfortable. Even though there was one bathroom, it was spacious and two of us could get ready at a time...there were two sinks and two mirrors . *The price was right!

The bedroom with the two twin (kids beds) could only be accessed through another bedroom. I don’t think that was disclosed. The two beds were kids beds not comfortable for an adult sized person. Super thin mattress with wooden latts. I ended up sleeping on the couch which wasn’t much more comfortable, but at least it was quiet. No closet, poor lighting. The shower, was very dangerous, super slippery with nothing to hang onto upon entering or exiting.

This is the first review of this kind we’ve received—both of our properties have consistently earned 10/10 ratings, and we take pride in providing a smooth and well-communicated experience for our guests. The bedroom layout, including access through the adjoining room, is clearly shown in the listing photos and description. The twin beds are standard and have comfortably accommodated many adult guests in the past. Guest safety is very important to us, and this is the first time we’ve received concerns regarding the shower. While we wish this stay had been a better experience, none of these concerns were brought to our attention during the visit, so we weren’t given the opportunity to address them in real time. We’re confident the listing accurately reflects the property, consistent with the experience of the vast majority of our guests.
