We are from a family with Berkshire ties. our stay was everything we enjoy. The culture the serenity,and highly functional bath and kitchen.A big win !! A repeat performer! I cannot say enough good things about this cozy chalet. It was exactly as described. The kitchen was well stocked. The beds were extremely comfortable. There were games, movies, and toys to help pass time on those rainy days. The owner has thought of every last detail. She made us feel like we were family visiting from out of town. We would definitely stay here again.

We certainly enjoyed our stay. ..a girls' week of sorts..We found the property to be tucked away on a quiet road, clean and comfy, quiet & peaceful. We loved the big dining room table ..lots of room to play our board games along with extra room for snacks & beverages. The beds were very comfortable (five stars ! Comfortable mattress is very improtant to me) Shower drains well and nice hot water...We had a few rainy days, we didnt mind tho..we enjoyed the screened porch...We listened to a couple Barred Owls carry on a conversation.almost every evening. And one night , they were close...right outside..awesome! We went into Great Barrington, about a 20 minute easy drive for an afternoon of exploring and lunch. It was an easy self check in and out. Valerie responded quickly with an update and an answer to a question.

This property is a gem. We stayed 3 nights to ski at Butternut and loved how close it was to Great Barrington. This house feels like you are staying at a family member’s home. My kids loved all the books and Legos and asked every day if we could come home early so they could have more time to play. Highly recommend!

This place had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway! Quiet location, beautiful views, wood burning stove and everything you need to cook a nice meal in. But close enough to restaurants and grocery store for supplies. Highly recommended!!

Cozy Home in the mountains

We enjoyed our stay. It was quiet and secluded just as we had hoped for. Beautiful surroundings and close to anywhere you want to go in the Berkshires.

Very nice chalet/cabin. Everything you need for cooking and comfort. The woods are peaceful and beautiful. A good base to relax or see the Berkshires.

Had a great stay with our dogs. The house is close to hiking trails and Great Barrington. Very peaceful setting in which to relax.

The Owls Nest is Fantastic

A great spot close to Great Barrington. Beautiful walks from the house and quiet evenings on the screened in porch.
