Aggiornamenti della casa: nuovo proiettato nello spazio del ponte e nuova illuminazione del ponte.

Tra le spiagge di Grootpan Bay e Kiddle Bay si trova la Villa Mango. Incastonata nella collina che domina un grande stagno salato e Grootpan Bay, questa villa confina con il Parco Nazionale USVI. A soli 10 minuti di auto dalla vivace Coral Bay, gli unici suoni di Mango Villa sono il canto degli uccelli e il surf che si infrangono.

Mango Villa è una casa privata a 3 piani con 3 BR / 2 BA; non ci sono strutture condivise. Offre un parcheggio piatto e un facile accesso ed è completamente attrezzato con tutto il necessario per una vacanza rilassante sull'isola.
Sarai a breve distanza da VIERS e dalle famose spiagge di Salt Pond e Lameshur. Questo è veramente St. John Off The Beaten Track.

All'interno, la cucina e la Great Room presentano soffitti a volta con travi di mogano a vista e un bar per la colazione in mogano di 10 piedi. La cucina è completamente equipaggiata.

La Master Suite, con bagno privato, è separata dal resto della casa e ha un letto matrimoniale e un letto singolo. (Quando si entra nel cancello, la porta sulla destra è la master suite e la porta sulla sinistra è la casa principale) Ognuna delle camere ha un letto matrimoniale e ogni camera ha porte scorrevoli sul ponte con vista su Grootpan Bay.

Relaxing trip

The villa was a nice retreat. Very quiet area of the island with nice beaches around. Only thing need a suv of some sort the road to villa is a little rough.

Flamingo Surprise

This Was an incredible opportunity to stay at a wonderful house. The layout is great especially y kids off other couples. The full back deck afforded an expansive view of a salt pond and Kiddel Bay. The salt pond is in the foreground and hosted at least 100 flamingos per day. Mostly in the morning, and some in the evening. It was a wonderful display. The house location is private and serene. I couldn’t think of a better place to stay in St. John.

Private Cozy Villa

Overall, we absolutely loved staying at the Mango! From beach chairs to a toaster oven to plenty of beach towels - and everything in between - all of our needs were met. Wonderful location close to Grootpan Bay and Salt Pond where we had our favorite snorkeling adventures! The Mango is a great price for a cozy villa located on a private and quiet area of the island. In the mornings we even had a surprise visit from flamingoes, which came as a surprise. One frequent STJ visitor shared with us this is the first time she had heard of flamingoes coming to the island. Simply put, this was a perfect cozy casita for my husband and I - we would absolutely come back in the future!

Great stay at Mango Villa

Property was as described and great location at east end of the island. Communication was great with the owners and we really enjoyed our stay. Salt Pond and Lameshur are both very close and 2 of our favourite beaches.

Lovely week with lovely views

We had a really nice stay. So many great beaches sites within near proximity to the house. Location is o. The quiet and more rustic side of the island, which is what we wanted.

Perfect getaway

I stayed with a group of 4 friends for a week at Mango Villa and we had a great time! It was just what we needed, with easy access the hiking and beaches for snorkeling and relaxing. Would highly recommend!

A lovely stay

My family and I loved our time at mango villa! We really appreciated the detailed directions to the house and all the tips for the island! We enjoyed yoga on the porch while watching the flamingos, dinners on the screened in deck, movie nights after long days on the beach, and the stock of beach toys and coolers! I would definitely recommend this villa to others! The AC units in each bedroom were lifesavers. I will cherish my time in St. John for life.

Great place and location

For those who want to get away from both Cruz Bay and even Coral Bay, this is a great spot. Remote yet not isolated. We found the location between the beaches to be just right.

Wonderful quiet villa with great view

We have stayed here twice and love the quiet and nature. Plenty of space and great view. Walk to two great snorkeling beaches and short ride to others. Clean and well stocked. Layout is great with one bedroom separate from other two. If we get back to at John again we would not stay anywhere else!

We were very pleased at the separation and privacy of the two bedrooms. Worked well for two couples. Wonderful views and very peaceful. We explored every day -birding and snorkeling.

Nice place but needs some updates.

Nice place but a with a few updates like blind or curtains that fit the window would help greatly. Just for future occupants the road to the house is not really a road but a rock path which is completely wash out (not the owners fault) but just for full disclosure for others:

Excellent!

Convenient to less crowded snorkel beaches; very well outfitted in every respect- leftover food from other travelers, snorkel equipment, sand beach toys, coolers, kitchen supplies etc. close to grocery and trash dumpsters, spectacular views off huge porch screened porch for cards or outside meals when buggy, massage capable on site! Brianna the host was always helpful! Fantastic stay and place!

Beautiful home on amazing island

Mango Villa is a beautiful house located in a very quiet part of the island. The balcony is perched overlooking a salt pond and bay, and so we had all our meals to amazing views. The house is spacious and very well organised so our family of 5 had plenty of room to enjoy our stay. St John has some amazing beaches that are only a short distance away.

Great spot to get away from it all

My wife and I spent 10 nights at Mango Villa and it could not have been better. It's a world away from the bustle of Cruz Bay and exactly what we were looking for. We planned to explore more of the island but ended up spending most of our time snorkeling at Lameshur, Kiddel, and Grootpan as well as hiking to Reef Bay. The kitchen was well-stocked, the master bedroom was cool and comfy, and the screened-in porch had great views and was perfect for meals and readlng. We will definitely be back!

A quiet private gem!

We really enjoyed our stay at Mango Villa. If you like privacy, quiet and the opportunity to snorkel in two different bays this is the place for you. We were always the only ones snorkeling in Kiddle/Grootpan bays. Many of the other beaches in St John can be quite crowded at times. The long deck with the lovely view of the bays is fantastic. We especially enjoyed having the ceiling fan on the deck. Brianna was responsive and accommodating and so supportive. The place was clean, homey, and well stocked. It is even nicer than the pictures. We were here for work (research) and I can't wait to come back for vacation.

Great place on a fabulous island!

This was our first trip to St. John, and Mango Villa was a great place to explore from! The house was just as represented, including a very well-equipped kitchen, which we always appreciate. We enjoyed breakfasts on the screened porch every day, grilled something for dinner most evenings, and packed lunches for the cooler (so glad to have that!) when we went out exploring. Some beaches were close enough to be "walk-able" but as senior citizens we chose to drive our rented jeep. There were lots of beaches we didn't get to, and we didn't try any hiking because it was very hot. We could have gotten up early and hiked, but we like to sleep in on vacations! We hope to return to St. John in the future!

Lovely Home, Wonderful Location

Husband and I stayed at Mango Villa for two weeks, and heavens don't I miss it. Miss the view over Grootpan and the green hills alongside; all the amenities that make it a great beach house (a spacious and comfortably furnished screen porch, a well-equipped kitchen with a fridge that actually keeps things cold, reading lamps next to the bed- and a clothesline!); the snorkeling at Kiddel, Grootpan, Salt Pond and the Lameshurs- all a short walk or drive away; and the breezeway between the main house and the master bedroom, which was a great staging area for our gear. Also, the WiFi works great for those who need to do some work when they travel. And finally, shhh... I think this villa is one of the best bargains on the island!

Great Adventure

Property was as described. Very comfortable and well stocked. We had all the comforts of home without the hassles of a resort. There are many beaches and trails close to Mango. Several are within walking distant. Some great restaurants in Coral Bay which is 10 minutes away. We went to at least one if not two beaches everyday. The snorkeling was amazing. Beautiful beaches, trails and scenery what more could you ask for with the comforts of Home at Mango Villa. Here are a few of the things that made up our Great Adventure..Hermit crabs, birds of all kinds, mongoose, goats, donkeys, colorful fish, sea turtles, eels, squid, string rays, deer and some beautiful coral:)

St John Escape

Super cool off the beaten path home. Beautiful view of Grootpan Bay and Salt Pond. We had Rainbows 3/5 mornings after a brief shower. Snorkled 8 bays in 4 days plus Ramshead and Annenburg Plantation. Place was totally stocked with spices, sunscreen, firstaide kit, fans, snorkle gear, information books, ect. Even had a half dozen eggs and 4 cold beers in the fridge when we got there. About 40 minutes from Cruz Bay and 15 minutes from Coral Bay. East side soooo much laid back then city side. Perfect to chill out. Brianne was excellent host. We could tell she care alot about her family house. Would definitely return to Mango Villa.

Cozy stay on the quiet side of the island

The villa was clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The large Brita and many ice cube trays made hiking water bottle prep easy. The AC in the bedrooms kept us cool after a day of adventuring. We enjoyed playing the “St. John - opoly” they had and loved the little blue and yellow bananaquit birds who came to visit the bird bath! The villa is on the quiet side of the island, right next to Lamshur Bay and the Rams Head trail. It takes about 40 minutes to get here from Cruz bay, but the secluded location is so peaceful, and without any light pollution, the nighttime sky is incredible! There is no shortage of wildlife to see, and we saw turtles on every beach we visited! Abundant coral, bright fish, sting rays, and more - this was truly an escape for nature lovers. A few tips: 1) Recylables are collected at ReSource Depot on Gifft Hill Road behind Tony’s kitchen. They take #1, #2, #5 plastics and aluminum! 2) Chemical sunscreens are illegal on the island to protect the abundant coral. Remember to use only Zinc or Titanium sunscreens :)

Far from the crowds, and close to wonderful snorkeling!

Mango Villa was wonderful for our group of 2 couples in our 60's! The house is located on a dirt road off the road between Salt Pond Bay and Little Lameshur Bay, two absolutely gorgeous beaches which are not at all crowded. We went to St. John to snorkel and bird watch and to enjoy lovely weather, and our stay at Mango Villa surpassed our expectations! The kitchen is wonderful for people who like to cook--it is equipped with everything you need, including nice knives and a teapot! We cooked 4 fairly complicated dinners there, and didn't need to improvise with the pots and pans. A hint about the kitchen lighting: the lights above the counter are on a switch with a teeny sliding dimmer switch. If the light seems too low, you probably inadvertently slid the dimmer down! The bar seating at the island and the dining table seemed nice, but we never, ever ate at them. We enjoyed every single meal on the beautiful deck, with the views of the salt pond and Grootspan Bay! We enjoyed watching the bananakeets, grasskeets, hummingbirds, doves, ducks, and frigate birds from the deck. The deck has both sun and shade, and was so nice that we had trouble motivating ourselves to leave each day! The living room is comfortable with a nice-sized TV. The WiFi was good enough to stream Netflix movies from my KindleFire(you would need to bring the proper HDMI cable to plug your device into the TV). We also looked at the underwater photos from my camera each night, using the same cable. It was wonderful seeing them on the big screen! The bedrooms, beds, and pillows were all very comfortable, with adequate closet and drawer space. I like to sleep in a room that is 70 degrees at night, and the air conditioning was fine for that. Others preferred the effective and quiet ceiling fans. The house is truly "between the beaches" of Grootspan Bay and Kiddle Bay--each is a leisurely 10 minute stroll. While Grootspan and Kiddle are rocky beaches, the snorkeling is wonderful at both! We saw a spotted eagle ray, a turtle, barracudas, a spotted moray, a porcupinefish, hoardes of parrotfish, grunts, wrasses, jacks, tangs, damselfish, squirrelfish, snappers, and occasional angelfish, butterflyfish, hamlets, goatfish, filefish, hinds and more. There are some nice sections of hard and soft corals on the extreme left and right sides of Kiddle, and in the middle of Grootspan. And you might have either bay all to yourself! Mango Villa is the best deal on St. John!

Peace of Paradise

The Mangos was everything that we hoped for. The location was fantastic. Of all the beaches the ones closest to the property were our favorites. Calm, uncrowded and beautiful with great snorkeling. The view from the deck was amazing. Salt pond, ocean, and unspoiled mountains, you couldn't ask for more. We saw flamingos, herons, a turtle and soldier crabs right from the deck. The area was peaceful and walking distance to a fantastic coble beach. The artistic touches and landscaping put this place as a one of a kind property. We needed to contact the owner at one point and she was prompt and helpful. Thank you for sharing your beautiful special space with us.
